  • Hello Moto

  • he's a fuckin amazing pianist.

  • Excellent video, the guy makes it seem a very interesting product and a great selection of piano playing. I recently purchased this product from Fox UK music and they offer a great deal, recommend checking it out guys! search Fox products on google

  • 1:09

  • what is the difference between np 30 to np31?

  • very nice Sound for this sensation price and its very light!

  • I know that this has been asked a couple of times already, but so far it seems no one has been able to answer...

The piece he's playing from 1:22 to 2:30, does anyone know what this is? I'd like to learn it...

  • Skills not included. >_<

  • I'm looking into buying a keyboard but I don't know either to chose the NP30 or the portable grand. I know the prices are very similar but I would like to get the better one out of the two.

  • @jackthtsme Anyone got any suggestions.........

  • I just shit, I'm not satisfied, I want a refund but my ass isn't talking to me, I think It's refusing me service.

  • whats the name of the second song he plays

  • jelly dutch peoplez u cannot speak engrish ^-^

  • Why only 10 sounds? (but... sounds really good)

  • @matejmuzatko Cause its a light piano not a keyboard or a synth

  • did he just said that we can only use batteries for electric alimentation ? :O !!

please , i want to start playing piano , is it the ideal one for me ? what do you advise me ! (sorry for my english i'm from morocco )

  • @mayazusue I bought a casio CDP-100 this week and its very cheap and sounds more authentic than the much higher priced keyboards but doesn't have organ voice but the eletric piano sonds better in my oppinion than the yamaha, and doesn't have that annoying ticking sound when you press down the weighted keys which has been said in prior reviews.

  • @sethfafa great ! thank you , it costs a little expensive here in morocco , but it is cheaper than others ...but i m worried about the electric alimentation !

  • without pedal

  • Is that the natural sound of NP30?

  • Comment removed

  • Can other speakers be attached to the Yamaha NP30 ???

  • @BTQUANTUM You can plug other speakers through Phones Output.

  • NOTE: The piano doesn't sound as full when the sound comes from the built-in speakers. It sounds more tinny.

  • "Hello and welcome at Yamaha!"

    tehehehehe :D

  • yamaha minus europe?

    shtilysh?????

  • The sound of the NP30 is so-so, but it's okay for beginners. The only issue is that it uses cheap non-weighted keys, meaning you won't develop finger strength and technique to play a real piano.

  • @0prahTV thats true if you want to play a real piano, otherwise its great.

  • "Doesn't it sound really nice?"

  • Ok . . . I want one

  • I own a np-30 and play it daily love it

    -dylan

  • @yamahacorporation

Does the PA-3C adaptor work for the NP30??

    Thanks in advance

  • I'm not sure if it was just youtube's sucky sound quality, but for some reason the voices sounded a little shallow and... just kind of cheap, but I may be mistaken- Would anyone who owns this piano care to share any thoughts on it? I am thinking on buying a full actioned e-piano under $400 dollars. Any suggestions?

  • @Piedoom0 I don't think you'll get a much better piano for that money.

  • hey everybody. i would like to learn piano. is that good enough for the beginning? later when i am better i would buy a new and better one.

  • M-audio have 88 key piano with recording software ableton live lite inkluded. a musicstudio for same price as NV-30

  • @casioPX500L Do you know that the modle of that is?

  • @envokestudios google and find " pro key sono 88" but some youtube video show that M-adio have klicky keys too.

but wait to see what musikmesse in Frankfurt april 2011 will bring. a good real piano keyaction and a computer and software is what we need.

  • for the low price 2600 swedish kronor, its ok. works on battery too

but the same keys uses in Yamaha pagiaro NV-60,Nv-80 almost sameprice 3200 skr, why yamaha #?%¤#" not 88 key!

  • I'm looking into buying this YAMAHA NP30. Is it good?

  • I want to start learning to play piano. Is this a good piano to start learning on?

  • @KirbyPwnz13 the keyaction is so soft, like a toy. hope yamaha made real wood key action like anabtgrand N1 into a lowprice cover like NP-30. no one need an expensive furniture. a NP-30 with GH3 key and halfpedal and string resonace would possible

  • Whats the name of the second song he plays? Does anyone know? lol

  • NP thorty

  • Does it have hammer action?

  • what a "shtailish" piano xD

  • @Plamen619 I think, it is good designed)

  • Stupid 'emotion stuff' - who needs it anyway?

  • @kgreggbruce u need it

  • why does he stare at the piano and bend down when he plays?

  • @araynax People do that when they're playing with feeling and expression. When you put a lot of effort in your body moves a lot when you play. It's funny to see, but it shows the feeling they put into it.

  • @PianoPlayingDave69 oh thanks. i was wondering why, because i'm a piano player but i don't add in all that emotion stuff.

  • lol Dutch people speaking english

  • @DistortionAccent I would like to see you speak Dutch? No didn't think so.

  • @RohanPritchard I happen to be Belgian.. so i guess my Dutch isn't that bad.

  • Could please some one explain me why is important to simulate the action of a real piano? that improves anything?

  • @alsamuef That allows you to play the instrument as you play an acoustic piano. So you (hopefully) get the same tones and dynamics as you hit the keys. If the keys are too light for example, which usually is the case in most cheap-end digital keyboards, you may find it difficult to play piano (soft) and forte (loud) parts of a song as you want to.

  • @alsamuef exactly,no point if you never want to play a real piano,i dont im quite happy playing synth type keys, why not.

  • So which keyboard is most similar to piano? This has not weighted keys?

  • Can I connect left and right foot pedal ?

  • what is the song he plays at 1:40? id love to find out

  • Is there a transpose function with this keyboard ? !

  • Good keyboard, I was about to buy it, but I tried it out and I don't recommend it if you want heavy keys. For about one hundred bucks more I am going to buy the P-85

  • @EdgarImpact i have a Yamaha Arius and Yamah P95 and I prefer playing this,

  • hammer action?

  • @William102582 : No, the action is nothing like a real piano. That's how they can keep the weight down to < 12lbs.

  • It sounds like the Motif ES piano

  • one quick question: Dose the guy in this video conncet the yamaha np30 to the amp or it is the sound com from the speaker ?

  • @khangu262 : Neither. What you are likely hearing is a recording made via the MIDI interface connection. The speakers aren't bad for the money but it won't sound this good.

  • I found this for 260$

  • @Tubbs3695 Yes with usb port?

  • @realjuvelive no usb on the piano just midi in out and headphone which you can connect to a speaker/amp system or souncard of PC

  • @VampirexGuitarist Allright, then are you a lucky guy :).

  • @martino673 Yeah, $269 from several places online

  • does this board have a 1/4" output so it could go into an amp?

  • Comment removed

  • @VampirexGuitarist No it is arround 300 euro's

  • what is the name of the second song that he plays!?

  • @ttes003 i wanted to find out what it was as well!! its very beautiful.

  • Might be useful to customers if we heard all the basic sounds like organs etc, instead of just wasting our time for over 6 minutes.

I'll be buying from a company that gives out more useful information.

  • @hotguy337

I think if you're buying a piano like this you'll be mainly interested in the piano sound. If you want organs and synths and strings that sound properly, you'll have to buy a different kind of keyboard

  • Can anyone reccommend me a keyboard?

Needs to be around £200-250 ($300-400). I just need a keyboard for in home use, so it doesnt need to be very portable, although i wont be using any stands. I'd prefer a power cable, and i'm not really all that interested in the keyboard containing 100's of instrument sounds. Basic grand piano sounds are all i need.

Can anyone help me with this? i've never really shopped for a keyboard before, so i have basically no idea what i'm doing :\

  • No power cable? Only batteries? i was set on buying this until i found that out.

  • @rich8642 Its not like that. It DOES have "power cable" but if you for example forget to take it with you somewhere u can also use batteries as energy source. it's worth its price. ;)

  • @rich8642 it actually does include mains adaptor when bought

  • I own one of these.. it is brilliant. Good piano sound, VERY LIGHT, it has speakers with fine sound quality. No heavy lifting, you´ll take it with you to the guitar party every time. :)

  • @SKANDALIR I like the guitar party part, with friends and all the fun XD

  • what's the name of the song he starts playing around 1:21? it's so pretty!

  • Yamaha NP30 -kupujcie gnoje!!!

  • @tomek13696 ja bendem ;)

  • I have one of these and its sounds fab with a set of speakers or even just headphones.

  • Does this dude have a short circuit? He takes forever to start a new sentence!

  • @miniroll32

he sounds like he's dutch. he doesn't want to pronounce things wrong so he speaks very slowly.

  • That was funny!

    Doesn't it sound Really Nice?!

  • does anyone know what song is he playing for the grand piano sound?

  • are the piano sounds the same with de dgx 230's ones? and the keys feels the same with dgx 230's ones or they are more weighted? thanks.

  • this guy's a load..

  • i can't understand (from my searches) whether the keys "feel" weighted. Can someone describe the feel of them compared to regular keyboards and hammer/weighted keyboards?

  • @lutherdriggers they are light like a synth .i prefer to weighted keys which i have also

  • it works with battery also....with six of them, I heard. How long does it work with them?

  • I want to buy this piano but im a beginner and play some songs. I at [Music] Lessons practice on keyboards and do my Tests on Pianos. So is it worth to buy this kind :) Thanks for Answering

  • I have a Roland KC60 amplifier. How would the NP-30 sound if I used it with the amplifier?

  • Does anybody knows if the piano sound is comparable or better than the one of the DGX-230?

  • is the key same as dgx 230? someone answer me please T_T

  • Are the keys weighted?

  • @himatsuri i would replace the word weighted with plasticy to be honest.

  • @kingofkeyboards They don't feel so bad for a cheap keyboard, i actually like the "weighted" action to them. I suppose you might not like it if you grew up on professional pianos, or if your a music snob, "kingofkeyboards"

  • @RLbitClassica well one you cant judge people off a bloody youtube account name c'mon O_o and two if you ask many other proper players the majority will agree that the keys are pretty cheap quality.

  • @RLbitClassica lol so true, to acoustic piano players i understand if they want weighted keys but otherwise this is far easier and more comfortable .

  • @kingofkeyboards yeah but the goal of this keyboard is portable - weighted keys add a lot of weight. in some cases 'easy to carry' is better than having weighted keys.

  • @himatsuri yeah.

  • got to have it !!

  • Is the Piano sound of NP30 as good as the one of P-155. Need help, cos the price difference is big.

  • this guy can really play

  • Does anybody know a piano I could get for around £400, something like the NP-30, but a little better?

  • @CooCurrent maybe the np-v60?

  • Where did you get it for 200?

  • With semi-weighted keys, pedal, reverb, piano sounds even better than some acoustic pianos I played. It is also cheap, good for learning, and it is Yamaha. About bad sides some other time.

  • @vokshumana agreed

  • anyone know what the music is from 1:22-2:35 ?

  • i have this keyboard is great im a learner dont really understand the dual octave thing havent really tried it but sounds great also i only learned how to change the reverb type which is a great feature

being a learner i didnt really know what to expect from the keyboard but hearing a pro play it i know iv got the right one. thanks great vid

  • Is it piano good ?

  • Peter Batman....

  • I love what he plays for the E Piano voice xD

  • awesome sound, but nothing better than the real thing.

  • how can i get a hold of this? i can't see any of this product here in my country, Philippines. man.. it's so frustrating.. ordering from from another country sucks too because of that Shipping fee..

  • @moncmon Same here dude, it's just a big headache in my country... but i'd love to have one of this, at least!

  • lol at the dutch accent!

  • m-audio prokeys 88sx or this?

  • the sound ot this keyboard sucks without amplifier

  • I just want one that emulates a piano and no funk five or crap like that can anyone recommend one there's no decent piano forums on the net

  • it sounds really jazzy

  • where can i get the attachable music stand for it? (is that the right term?)

  • I have'it too. and it's just nice to practice with... I use it as a midi keyboard.

  • @cimpox MIDI ? Is that possible? THnx! :D

  • @WebNightingale Hi! yes it is possible with midi. I have a usb midi cable and I'm using this with reason.. and it works with other software,

  • Which keyboard stand is being used in this video? It looks like a Yamaha L3C attachable stand but the Yamaha website does not list it as compatible with the NP-30.

  • Is that a Yamaha L3C stand the NP-30 is on? Is the NP-30 compatible with this bolt-on stand?

  • I would like to know which keyboard stand is being used here. It looks very stable and has room for the knees. Is it the Yamaha L3C stand?

  • Yamaha it's a great brand name, but Peter Baartmans it's greater.

  • The speakers are really horrible, but its ok since its cheap =)

  • I have-it too. and it's working very good with reason too... The best cheap piano.

  • He is a great pianoplayer!

    Jesper, Denmark

  • Quisiera saber cuando llegará este modelito a Perú. si ya tiene de fabricacion, mas de dos años.

  • Hola me gusta pero quisiera saber si tiene vos de guitarra, tambien me gustaria saber el presio, soy de Perú

  • is he in a meat locker?

  • were can you get it for 200 euro's ???

  • The speakers are horrible lol, but if u use headphones its definately worth the money! :D

  • >how realistic are the weighted keys?

They are not piano-like. NP30 has a "graded light touch" keyboard.

  • the keys are too small

  • What does YAMAHA minus Europe equal?

    :D

  • For an affordable digital piano would you reccomend this? I'm thinking of getting the Yamaha P-85... I'm torn between both

  • i got it for 200 € =)

  • yea me 2

  • where?

  • jajajajajaja 200 Euros

estas mal hermano vale 1500 euros

  • how did you do that?
