A great, great scene in this film. Well, of course the song is wonderful. But watch the background. There is the ever-present angel atop the Bastille obelisk. And then ... all these pedestrians ... were they extras? Was it just filmed as it happened? It certainly looks that way. You can watch this over and over. The car backs away as he crosses the street, people pop out of doors as he walks. Wow.

I guess I can't really say no here, but I think you're kinda missing the point of the movie...which is to throw away that tendency we have to label everything (here the focus in on sexuality, but seems to me that in essence it goes way beyond that) because we're gonna be able to be much happier without those restraints. Ismaël lost the love of his life but was able to find happiness again after he did just that. It's not about being gay or straight or whatever, it's just loving/being loved

Louis Garrel a beau avoir un air assez froid dans la vie, c'est un sacré acteur/chanteur.

En plus son allure me fascine : presque jamais souriant, on dirait qu'il se prend très (trop) au sérieux, mais en meme temps son visage d'ange gothique me fait craquer (visage bien pâle, cheveux bien noirs). Bref on est pas la pour parler uniquement de Louis Garrel !
