It's kind of sad how they make white tigers, though beautiful as they are. They're all interbred in captivity and suffer major genetic defects - you won't find one in the wild. =/

@FallenShards Actually you can find one in the wild, 12 have been seen in the past century. However, it is very hard for one to get born in the wild, it is every 10,000 births. That is because Bengal Tigers have a white recessive gene, but it hardly shows up.

Of those surviving, most have such profound birth defects, such as immune deficiency, scoliosis of the spine (distorted spine), cleft palates, mental impairments and grotesquely crossed eyes that bulge from their skull that only a small percentage are suitable for display.

The truth of the matter is that they arent even pure Bengal tigers, but rather are all the offspring of an original Siberian / Bengal cross breeding. The inbreeding results in many defects, early deaths, still births and, as could be expected, the cats are not very bright which is why they are preferred for entertainment purposes.
