  • What are nanocells made up of? Stem Cell? Ethical issues behind this?

  • No thanks!! I don't wanna be took over by robots.. so we can all die!

  • @existingclara We're all gonna die anyway... Might as well make it interesting.

  • YES! WE'll BE ALL ABLE TO SMOKE AGAIN!

  • wonder if nanotech can cure aids or hiv as well as cancer

  • @Mindofpoet

search for DRACO we dont really need nano for HIV this drug stops the replication of the virus' DNA but still in works and not only HIV it also works for other viruses such as herpes simplex or common cold...

  • 1990 - a playstation game called metal gear solid introduced me to nanomachines ... now all of a sudden people talkin about it like its a new technology ... its been around for atleast 20yrs+ anyone ever heard of morgellons? a disease with is thought to be caused by nanotechnology ... if some nanomachines some how escaped from the laboratory where the mad scientists created them what kind of inpact do you think it would have on eco system and human beings ? maybe the end of the world

  • Nanobots, a great cure for cancer... UNTIL THEY BECOME SELF AWARE!

  • if they THINK its safe- no, this is not good

  • @Jikezer Have you read "The Golden Age" by John Wright? (I think that's his name). He describes a very plausible nanotech future.

  • Well Somebody's lying about the cure for cancer and all disease if huamans can come up with all these marvelous things, including guns & bombs (Even though they were designed to kill innocent people just chilling, raising their families, and just getting running water after a century.) Wow!....Humans....we're such fucking idiots.

We're only a short time away from self destruction as a species.

BTW, The cure for cancer is getting rid of the mucus in the body. Mucus eats the cells.

  • @packleader1215 Humans are not idiots, why should all humans share the blame when it is only the West/Global governments who are to blame?

  • woooowww cool! i love biology and nano technology!

  • Here is the golden question, if and when I do get a degree in Nanotech, where will i end up working? hopefully its not in Antarctica or Alaska some obscure state in United States

  • Dr. Hemangi of Noble continues: “These are early days and certainly all evidence that the combination of liberation and stem cell therapies working together at this point is anecdotal. However I am not aware of other medical facilities in the world that offer the synthesis of both to MS patients on an approved basis and it is indeed a rare opportunity for MS patients to take advantage of a treatment that is quite possibly unique in the world”. • The technique is referred to as a bone marrow harvest and is performed under a general anesthesia. The incidence of patients experiencing rejection is rare due to the donor and recipient being the same individual. This remains the only approved method of the SCT therapy. Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.

  • what computerizing the nanos into a nerve and controling movements or into the brain controlling what you do.. it just said its small as a gene a dna so im pretty sure it fits into the brain perfectly about a million of them

  • Closely listen to a Pre-January 8th of Inception, particularly during, "Do It."

  • PEOPLE ARE BAD..SO THIS IS GONNA BE A GREAT DOWNFALL FOR MANKIND!!

FUNNY HOW NOBODY CAN TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS...BECAUSE..ITS BEEN HERE SINCE TIME ITSELF..HAHAHAHAHA

  • @1billion1deaths1 Quite a few people become bad. A big part of why they learn to be "bad" is in the current system, they've come to expect their lot in life (and that of their children) to be one of poverty. Do you doubt that nanotechnology can change that? When people can make what ever drugs they want right inside their bodies to you think there will be any drug related crime? What happens when a youth in Uganda can manufacture oscilloscopes or computers or hamburgers or vaccines at home?

  • @ExtantFrodo2 Quite a few?????? where are u from buddy I would love to live where u live . Because Where iam from War is going on. And your defensless in the land where dragons rule. Aslong as war lives they will always be Evil people. In science to every action we create has another action then comes another action from that. The point is We were better off in the Electric age. But we are in the future now and every action becomes a reaction to the virtues of time.

  • @1billion1deaths1

I notice you elected not to address any of the questions I posed. Do you wish to engage in dialog or shout from your soapbox?

  • @ExtantFrodo2 Come on now we would all love to live in your disney based reality. But my best friend was murderd and my cusin kidnapped. So I stand here floating in a confusment of a cloud with thinking that u are actually from planet earth.

  • @1billion1deaths1 mhmm, and why was you friend murdered, why was your cousin kidnapped?

  • @ExtantFrodo2 why do u think he was killed? why do u think he was kidnapped? Quite a few people become bad righ???lmao

  • @1billion1deaths1 ok, I can see it's a waste of time trying to discuss this with you. Continue trolling if you wish.

  • @ExtantFrodo2 Just go run along and play with your puppy. Wen u get a big boo boo come back and tell me about it.

  • @1billion1deaths1 Nanotech is no puppy. The first programmable assembler will mark the most significant event this planet has seen since multicellular life.

  • @ExtantFrodo2 I think we all know that here, Its still in the process as we speak. Its not your average nintendo its configurations are not complete .

  • Iran too are ahead with nano, the world may need to learn somthing as Iran has best cancer pervention and treatment... Uk has the worst... my mum died of cancer (uk) she had faith in this dying nhs system ...

  • wow this shit could definitely be used against human beings. Attacking us from the inside would prove to be the most effective way to get rid of us. let's fucking get the hell out of this planet haha

  • This is great and all...until you read the book Prey by Michael Crichton. My absolute favorite book, and it addresses the threat of artifically intelligent nanomachines. You think a cloned T-Rex is scary? HA!

  • They are spraying our skies daily with chemtrails. Nano sized particles of Aluminum, Barium and Strontium

  • @freedomdefender10 If that were true, you could find nanoparticles of AL, Ba and St.

Something so easy to prove or disprove would make a crappy conspiracy

  • Time to do some research before jumping to conclusions.

Watch "What in the world are they spraying" the Documentary by Edward Griffin.

    Here's the trailer...

  • Cancer is a pH imbalance. Look up Royal Rife and Antoine Bechamp's work on pleomorphism. Terrain is everything. Attacking cancer is treating a symptom of an underlying cause.

  • @dhjw shut up you don't know shit!

  • @dhjw - Royal Rife is unscientific nonsense that doesn't work. Grow up!

  • there's a vid called "a world without cancer" here on youtube. what about vitamin b17? leatrile ? why all this bullshit when cancer is a chronic metabolic disease ? a chronic metabolic disease !!!!!! vids like this make me sick. the ama would rather carve you up and give you poison drugs and radiation costing billions instead of loosing money by telling you the truth about how easy cancer is to cure. and the ama is backed up by our corrupt government ! a simple chronic metabolic disease.

  • @napalmvoododaddy - Cancer is anything but "simple". It's also not just one disease, but a family of problems with multiple causes, even within the same individual.

  • @frostek then tell me. why are apricot kernels not allowed to be sold in the u.s. ? and are you saying cancer isn't a chronic metabolic disease ? cancer is a simple fix. diet ! if you want to believe that other crap, then go ahead.

  • @napalmvoododaddy - Because they metabolise to *cyanide*!

You haven't got the faintest clue about this subject - you must be *astoundingly* gullible!

Hey, there's a "doctor" in Italy that says sodium bicarbonate cures cancer! WRONG!

Hey, I had an argument with a Yank on here who claimed *Blackberries* cured cancer. ALSO WRONG!

If any of the simple fixes worked, people wouldn't be still dying of cancer!

  • @frostek your the gullible one. you go ahead and believe what the ama says. your still not saying anything about cancer being a chronic metabolic disease. blackberries have only a certain amount of nitrilosides in them. i'm done with you. have your last say. fuck off !

  • ffs, all the research done arround the world should be shared, it would greatly speed up technological progress. greedy fuckers!

  • the talking vooice seemed from future

  • Anything that can give life and also take life. Anything that can save us can also destroy us. Nanotechnology is no exeption. But is sure is awesome :D

  • @TheHeavyWalker dude shut the fuck up your such a faggot

  • Nice i hope one day we will find the cure for cancer so no one need to die from it now.

  • @volure1 and ofcourse many will die because of it, unless the stone age mentality will be changed.

  • Thank's for sharing.

  • this could give everyone rippped abs and make our species 10x stronger physically

  • is nano electronics and quantam computers the same thing\/

  • @lvll138inrs - No, they're completely different technologies.

  • As far as I am concerened there is a great deal of advances of nanotechnology. Espacially in medicine. If you have a look at this video, I think nanotechnology could be a rather great progress in sciene...

  • This is amazing all illnesses worldwide could eliminate the fact that do not have more support is that suppliers of medicines not suits them this new technology because they break their companies I have a friend with cancer and I would like to help it is dying and I saw my father with cancer die aunt going ahead with their research and will not stop restrictions rules made to be broken luck and congratulations

  • brought to you by the umbrella corp...

  • WANT TO CURE CANCER? TRY HEMP OIL! wow fuck spending thousands of dollars on chemo and all that bullshit. there is a cure and the government has known about cannabis curing properties since the 70's. wake up ppl!

  • @TMarche would you shut the hell up....jesus

  • @amixer24 you obviously dont know the full story so stfu...jesus

  • @TMarche you sound like a typical stoner retard trying to get their view across that no one will ever listen to. your opinion doesnt matter and no one pays attention to you so shut the hell up. im pretty sure you said the full story with that retarded ass comment. please kill yourself

  • @amixer24 lol...such a feeble mind you have

  • @TMarche i hope you get crucified

  • @amixer24 whatever tickles your pickle kid

  • @TMarche well i don't know about my "pickle" but i do know that your father likes to tickle my asshole

  • Comment removed

  • @TMarche massive erection

  • @TMarche - More bullshit off the internet. I had an argument with an equally gullible countryman of your a few months back who swore the cure for cancer was... blackberries. I kid you not!

  • @frostek hahahhhahaha...ignorance is bliss my friend but you are entitled to your opinion.

  • If fully developed, Nanotechnology can even keep us away from death.

Nonotechnolgy is sole secret of our evolutionary phase, from type Zero civilization to type two civilzation.

We can can even control our sun,and other stars in our galaxy.

  • even if this came out tomorrow, it would be like 50 years before the government allowed it to be released to the general public.

  • @Dothier - That's not necessarily a bad thing. Something powerful would need to be used extremely carefully at the beginning.

  • nano technology will bancrupt capitalist nations backbone if this is fully developed -- pharmaceutical companies finance politicians who make the policies of nations... besides military use for nanotechnology is more profitable to them.. we should support the medicinal/medical use of this technology... :> )

  • This is truly amazing is could eliminate all diseases of the planet that does not have more support is that medicine providers this new technology are not appropriate because innovators their companies I have a friend with cancer and I would like to help her dying and I saw my father with cancer die aunt going ahead with its research and cannot stop you the restrictions rules were made to break luck and congratulations

  • @jecielmarquez stop speaking the spic language

  • @amixer24 This is amazing all illnesses worldwide could eliminate the fact that do not have more support is that suppliers of medicines not suits them this new technology because they break their companies I have a friend with cancer and I would like to help it is dying and I saw my father with cancer die aunt going ahead with their research and will not stop restrictions rules made to be broken luck and congratulations

  • Keep this crap our of my body. The body is a self-healing device. We're being engineered into sickness thru the environment and the food supply. Then they come in with their supposed solutions - but you don't really know what they're doing behind the scenes

There is more cancer now than ever. If we really wanted to cure it, we would. That wouldn't suit Big Pharma, who need us taking drugs for life to make $

Did you know that w/ nano, you can be chipped thru an injection/vaccination? :(

  • @TheseEyesGod - FFS, people had plenty of cancer in the old days, they just died from it very quickly and no one knew what it was.

  • @frostek

    What is "FFS"?

While you could be right, I don't think so. Even, today, in countries like Japan that eat a different diet - much more natural - cancer was largely unknown - that is, until they started eating our diet.

    ~♥~

  • خيال في خيال ومبالغة في مبالغة وشرك في شرك وتخلف في تخلف والايام كفيلة بكشف الحقيقة في علم النانوتكنولوجي

  • if the truth be known they are already using this to spread the cancer that later you will pay for to be cured ....

  • Uh oh they're gonna go Resident Evil on us

  • Even if would inevitably be used as a weapon we still need it for the good it can do

  • this needs more funding

  • More information on the subject here: nano.ms

  • this is the shit of the future right fuckin here baby

  • In the area I live, rap is the biggest thing since sliced bread. Haha. It was the first thing that came to mind.

  • This is death of individuality, humanity and the world we know it.

  • we're at a great rise in technology if you think about it 150 years ago life is very very different

  • the point is that they will not help us because of money or because we are human people that doesnt care about others...

im pretty sure they are planing to create weapons, pcs, and tvs rather good medicines that kills cancer

shit happens... lol so for me nothing changed, maybe weapons and technology just got stronger...

  • Future medicine will be developed in "underground" labs, not through the pharmaceutical companies. It'll be like in the movie Johnny Mnemonic :)

  • While i see great potential in the field of nanotechnology there is always a dark side to everything. conventional, biological, and even nuclear weaponry pale in comparison to what nanotechnology can develop. imagine a weapon the size of viruses with the capability of leveling cities molecule by molecule. i may be just paranoid but if humanity is exposed to this type of technology suddenly without being prepared the effects would be disastrous.

  • @KroganWrex You seem to be looking at it from one perspective. NanoTech will give us the ability to destroy eachother in a variety of ways, but it willbe equally capable of protecting us from those threats also.

At the end of the day, bad people will be bad, and the rest of us normals will just have to deal with it.

  • @spacecowboy95 Yes i suppose you are correct. i suggest that stringent measures be taken to keep this technology out of the wrong hands. I am actually doing an argument paper on whether the benefits of nanotechnology outweighs the risks. my opinion is that yes the benefits outweigh the risks (but that's only because i had to choose a side) in reality this can go both ways. the prospect of being able to manipulate atoms individually is fascinating but at the same time frightening.

  • R. Kurzweil deals with some potential dangers of NanoTech in his book "singularity". E.g, if NanoBots outnumber the amount of red/white blood cells in your body, they may do a better job at keeping you healthy, but they are at risk of getting digital viruses just like a computer is. It may mean that people will need firewalls uploaded into their bodies to stay protected. Maybe you should mention in your paper that Iran currently has one of the leading NanoTech programs in the world. Scary huh.

  • @spacecowboy95 - "Iran currently has one of the leading NanoTech programs in the world. Scary huh."

You should check when the last time Iran invaded another country was. Until they govt was messed up by the West they were starting to do pretty damn well.

  • Hmm I wonder a cancer killing nanobot that breeds like a virus turns the cancer cell into a nanobot factory(the nanobots would have to be made of materials found in the body) and it would explode killing the cancer cell and making many more useful nanobots that could also be programmed to scrape plaque out of ur blood vessels and off of ur teeth. If viruses can do it it isn;t much of a stretch to have nanobots that do it like viruses but they actually help u. They could also infect bacteria.

  • its hard to keep track of this technology . you can implant them in face cream for example and let them absorb into your skin or they can be placed in drinking water. in other words there could be a few nano machines floating around your brain telling you to vote for obama. you just dont know.

  • herp derp nano tech hurr

  • i want to study nano engineering when i leave college.

  • its a really small field

  • lol

  • @TyroneCrawford cool can you build me a nanosuit?

  • nanomachines will reverse cryonics patients once considered dead.

  • @DK0526 - With the way the population increases are going, it's likely that even if we could do that, no one's going to bother.

Also when they wake up in a reconstructed body, how are they going to pay the presumably huge bill?

Working as a historical exhibit in a museum? ;-)

  • @frostek that is a good question that was addressed long ago. The topic of overpopulation as it relates to cryonics came up in the late 1960's in the 1980's it was answered by the theoretical advent of molecular nanotechnology. Nanomedicine is undoubtebly what will be needed to revive cryonics patients. This same technology will have huge positive noncryonics economic and societal impacts. Implied is the fact that many problems will be small potatoes compaired to revival.>>>

  • >>>Another words those same molecular nanomachines predicted by noble winning scientists will not only be able to replicate and reconstruct a frozen patient based on thier DNA and cerbral structure will also be able to construct food for the world, low cost space colonization, unimaginable material wealth, and many other things we can scarcely imagine. It's as if someone in 1830 was asking how we will ever fit 1,000,000 people in a city because of all the horse shit. Cars were never imagined!

  • The science had always been at our finger stips you just need to know where to look.

I'm gonna go into EE in 2011 also study this as well looks cool.

  • Why isn't this more exposed? Why is it that the next big hit in the rap industry has more talk than something that can save the entire planet and destroy some of the most harmful diseases known to us?

The world needs another science revolution.

  • @theonlydanphillips becuase it solves too many problems - makes the mass free and independent. you cant control people who dont need your electrity or health care or money to go buy food at wal mart - the potential of nano technology is yet to be realised - its more than just beating cancer alot lot lot more - but that alone will cuase a population explosion which the earth could not handle - without other nano technology whiuuch is on the horizon.

  • @theonlydanphillips we have several scientific revolutions happening simultaneously (nanotech, biotech, robotics and AI), but for every 10 breakthroughs only 1 will be realized as cost-effective. From what I've read, we'll have as much technological change in the next 20 years as we have in the last 100 (1910 - first commercial zepplin flight, first experimental flight with a jet engine, Henry Ford sells 10,000 automobiles(92,228,496 US population))

  • @theonlydanphillips Because people like music. Question why did you used rap as an example? You could had use sports or whatever. It’s call pop culture and that all you had to say.

  • while nanotechnology can lead to medical, industrial, and agricultural revolutions. it can also wipe out life on a large scale. in the future, we'll be able to eliminate disease, hunger, environmental damage, or we can destroy ourselves and everything else.

google this term: grey goo nanotechnology

  • @ajre82 Using a basic medical laboratory and a few millions dollars anyone could build a super-deadly smallpox variety.

Using just one nuke it is possible to set off a chain reaction of launches from the countries which have them set up that would destroy the earth.

Using just one large explosion (probably a nuke) someone could destroy almost every electrical device in north America or Europe.

The danger of it is never an excuse not to do something. It just means we need to be careful.

  • @ajre82 That is highly unlikely. As far as weapons of mass destruction go, we have the means to destroy life on a large scale right now if someone wanted.

  • @matthewskin

Yeah we have the means today. But in the future we'll have even more . While a grey goo situation is unlikely, it is theoretically possible.

  • @ajre82 - Grey goo would have to compete against superior biological systems which have evolved over billions of years. I suspect some obscure microbe we'd never noticed before would be adept at dealing with it.

  • @theonlydanphillips

It's just being explored now. Calm down.

  • @Minionuup apart from the fact this vid is 3 years old you mean lol also this is over 20 years old

  • @theonlydanphillips one reason death = money

  • @theonlydanphillips because 3 quarters of the world are retards..........out of 8 people .....you and i are not so mentally feeble

  • @theonlydanphillips As soon as nanotechnology takes off, the american government will turn it in to a weapon. Better that they worry about the next rap star...

  • @theonlydanphillips Fucking christians! we need less people! at least the chinese indians and frechs fags, and more sex! Hails the ingeenierings!!!!

  • @woddesudo god dammit man would you please shut the fuck up you seriously sound retarded

  • @theonlydanphillips Fucking cristhians! It's obviusle because of the way too big companies that still want to make money of our asses not selling nanotech stuff due to cheapness of it, we need less people!, more sex! and ingeeners

  • @theonlydanphillips the powerful will get this technology before everybody else, it will trickle down from under their control

  • @theonlydanphillips I agree. The human race needs to get their priorities straight. Also, you are right, nanotechnology has the potential to do infinite good, but it could also be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands.

  • @theonlydanphillips I guess Pentagon is hiding MORE discoveries for themselves..

  • @theonlydanphillips totally agreee!! there's some reason problably why this is not more exposed to the public

  • @theonlydanphillips its just around the corner, the nanotech age is approaching i think you can see that happening now since this post is a year old

  • @theonlydanphillips because a gansta wannabe demeaning women and rapping about killing "niggas" is more provocative to kids.

  • Comment removed

  • This is awesome! Can i have some nanobots to eat my vegatables?

  • or how about your brain cells?

    that ought to be fun

  • next might be zombification....

  • get some shotgun shells ready for those zombies.

  • if i was president i would stop the selling of red meat, stop using chemicals in our food, ban ciggarettes and create a green america, why create something to kill something when its ur fault u have it, or may be genetic? when we can stop the first sources of sickness

  • lol... good luck with that.

  • ass

  • they create this to research "cancer cells"

yet you wonder why so many people have different types of cancer with the garbage they feed us

  • @PreCurSeD i know thats why ppl are gettin cancer, my step dad had cancer and he says it was the way he was eating, i dont eat crap, i havent eaten redmeat in years, ppl only eat chicken with no steroids ground turkey and organic vegs that dont have a skin, i havent been sick in over 10 years. and dont drink soda or fruit juice wit high frutose corn syrup its just bad for u

  • spread the word my friend... I work at a pizzeria... everyday is hell watching people eat that stuff... alot of them seem to be disabled mentally or physically... im not trying to label anyone but im not going to ignore the facts either. I used to eat that shit but then I read the ultramind solution... great book

  • @apocalist420 yea i know how u feel, i worked at burger king for 3 years when i was in school, most the ppl that came up there was fat or looked sickly, even i gain about 15 to 20 pounds when i was working there and since im not there im back at 150, yea lol. i own a chick fila franchise and im glad that we use organic chicken organic veg and natural oils to fry food in, just go easy on the dipping sauce lol

  • excellent!

  • If we were to cure cancer, AIDS, or any major disease of the like, the population will jump at a horrific rate. Not only that, nanotech has so many ways to fight wars, put hard working people out of work, and maybe even turn on us. Nanotechnology is evil and research in the matter needs to stop right now.

  • You will sing a different tune when you, or one of your loved ones, get a major disease of the like.

  • You sound like the Mideval Catholic Church. How can you stand there and say these diseases shouldn't be cured? I bet if you had one of those diseases you wouldn't say that.

  • research is a way to improve lives and make something better

nanotecnology is good or bad the way it´s used

  • this is a weapon of war. THAT is why BELL fired the inventor

  • 5 stars. What a great bio weapon. Cancer research when there are already many natural solutions. "Safe" hmm?

  • Natural solutions, like you call them, can definitely help prevent cancer. However, nobody is ever 100% safe and if you do get cancer, no 'natural solution' will help you.

Don't give in to bullshit witch doctors, herb healers and other quacks in a time of distress.

  • What is causing all this cancer? Why is it that the only allegedly effective solutions involve expensive profitable treatments?

  • There are too many causes of cancer for me to mention here.

They are not allegedly effective - they are effective. The treatment for cancer we have today is flawed, but at least it helps. The drugs are expensive because they are costly to develop. For example, there's a machine that targets a tumor with radiation from several hundred different angles, but it costs a fortune to build.

Anyway, nanotechnology promises cheaper, safer, and more effective treatments for cancer.

  • agreed, in fact stop poisoning people with crap like aspartame and i am pretty sure cancer will disappear ... just saying

  • Aspartame has been proven time and time again to be virtually harmless in amounts it's used now. And even *if* Aspartame(E) did contribute to cancer in some way or another, removing it from production would do very little since there are so many more causes for cancer than allegedly harmful sweeteners.

You're pretty sure cancer would disappear? Don't be simple.

  • i think you just showed how simple you are by stating things everyone knows and also misrepresenting facts,

i know it's fun to know shit, but other people can read too.

and since there was absolutely nothing constructive added by you ... (i just read my comment) you are an idiot, lets not do this again

  • Everyone knows apart from you, apparently.

Oh yes, calling people idiots when they call you out on your bullshit is really constructive indeed.

Next time, at least pick out a product that's actually harmful from that fancy list you have there. Maybe it will at least veil your lack of knowledge, no matter how thinly.

  • you are really stupid aren't you?

fuck off, we all know aspartame is dangerous, if you want to believe that it's not then you can go ahead.

the level of your stupidity is off the rictor, you are trying to take "things like aspartame" as a full bodied argument against it.

    seriously stupid, fuck off.

it is a fact, the assorted factors lead to cancer, fact you fucking ignoramus

i try very hard to avoid idiots like yourself with you lower self personalities.

    you are not intelligent, sorry

  • A person who is sure of his argument and has even
