qui.. they dont charge you for being in the guild, but you must be apart of the SA community to be with them ingame. They do this with about 8 or 9 other MMOs. And to be in SA which is a forum community that is huge btw, you gotta pay to get in, and thats where the money comes in. Basicly, they are their own community, and they don't want anyone from the original WoW community with them. They dont like you, they DONT want to play with you, which is why they accept SA members only.
They are breaking no rules, if you're in Somthing Awful (SA) you may join them in all the games they participate in, they are not charging you to be in the guild, but you must have a subscription with Somthing Awful in order to be accepted, just like they do with EVE online, Age of Conan, etc. Blizzard cant do shit, in fact, Blizzard praises them for making their game interesting
