  • THE LIFE AQUATIC IS MY FAVORITE! followed by errything else in second place.

  • God, I love Wes Anderson. So excited for this...

  • fantastic

    can't wait

  • WTF

  • DAT TYPEFACE

I don't know if it has a name, but it's designed by Jessica Hische.

  • Ha, kids smoking cigarettes warranting a PG-13 rating. I hate America.

  • Where's Owen???

  • Edward Norton and Wes anderson?!?!?!? MInd BLOWN!!!

  • AWESOME.

The Life Aquatic was plain terrible, but this outing looks to be more like The Royal Tenenbaums. Twee, but good twee.

  • @w0mblemania your're an idiot. BEST MOVIE EVOR

  • @wastedyeti Thank you for your intelligent, considered response.

It's so nice to have a discussion that doesn't involve one-liners delivered by an angry retard.

  • @w0mblemania I have to disagree on the Life Aquatic. I not only have that movie, I also find it to be my favorite of Anderson's movies. For personal reasons, but still. I can't, in my mind, come close to thinking it was "plain terrible." I guess I like all of them...

  • does anyone know the date when this comes out?

  • this movie looks great and orginal. Wes Anderson you are the best american director alive today

  • This looks fantastic

  • I hope this is more like Fantastic Mr Fox then his older movies. I know he has a die hard cult following but I just could never get into his movies like I heart huckabee's, etc. Fantastic Mr Fox I loved though.

  • @gyloir I Heart Huckabees is not a Wes Anderson movie.

  • @flw0001 My bad, thought it was. Well replace it with Life Aquatic or The Darjeeling Limited.

  • Thumbs way up! 2012 just got better!

  • I can't wait

  • This looks ...oddly brilliant!?

  • It's starting to kind of seem like Wes Anderson is becoming a parody of himself. His first movies were so great because they were something new and different, but now its just like the same thing over and over. I'll still end up watching this though.

  • @slingdingers Critics said the same thing about Bergman during his contemporary time. Consistency of style or physical thematic method or whatever you want to call it, I feel, is the distinguishing factor of a director among directors. I understand what you mean though, Darjeeling Limited felt like a big joke to me, as if there is some mutual understanding with the audience that 'film you are watching' is nothing but a self-reflecting commercial.

  • @greene0889 I actually really liked the Darjeeling Limited. What do you mean by it feeling like a self-reflecting commercial?

  • @ars3nalpromo I just mean it feels more like an advertisement for a Wes Anderson movie. opposed to being a Wes Anderson movie. It feels as if someone else kind of directed it based upon prior Wes Anderson references. We'll see what this next Anderson/Coppola has to bring I guess.

  • how fucking cute

  • want! now!

  • Oh thank god.

  • Omg this is amazing! I am so excited!! Two awesome directors making a fucktastic movie! Fuck yes indeed!

  • fuck YES
