  • no push button start???

  • Man that's awesome. Nice to see this thing from the office instead of the business side for a change. I wonder what the "SALT" reading means regarding 1032FT in the readout on the top right. Is that MSL like sea level altitude? INS alignment is just like any typical airliner of course.

  • "one of our fighters?!"

These aircraft are also owned by Bahrain, Belgium, Chile, Denmark, Egypt (Rag heads?), Greece, Indonesia, Iraq (Rag heads?), Israel, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Pakistan (the place where Osama was found), Poland, Portugal, ROC (the soon to be owner of the US), Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE and Venezuela.

  • "how about a lil fucking opsec!?!? do we really want every rag head terrorist knowing how to start up one of our fighters?! i thought u officers were supposed to be smart...."

People who can already fly a fighter jet are going to be able to work out how to start it without any help. All modern planes are purposefully designed to be simple to start and run (e.g. no external APU) to allow faster scrambles and the pilot to concentrate. Someone who needs this video to start it is going to crash it.

  • very cool video...but....its not smar to list step by step how to start this damn a/c....or show what buttons you are pushing....or your fuckin lat and long! how about a lil fucking opsec!?!? do we really want every rag head terrorist knowing how to start up one of our fighters?! i thought u officers were supposed to be smart....

  • @elprez14

you only have to play the freely available Falcon 4.0 flight simulator to know virtually the entire ins and outs of a Falcon jet's behaviour. so i doubt this video is Top Secret

  • he forgot to check the windshield wipers.

  • Nice! but why so poor resolution and SOUND QUALITY?

  • its been 2 years and i finally found the video again, therefore i will favorite this video

  • Eat your heart out, Falcon 4!

  • Its a bit different to my one, but I'll get the hang of it.

the T.V in that one doesnt work.

  • this technology is a few years old already, imagine where we are in 50 years

  • where does the keys go then?? :P do they have keys? wouldn't that be wicked!!

  • you are so ready to bomb the russians!!!!

  • Nice opsec

  • May I ask the question most others are probably thinking....................how do you switch it onto full afterburner?

  • @ToonandBBfan you have a second stage on the trottlehandle.. you have to push the trottle all the way forward and then lift it up to the second stage and then you push it forward again..

  • @erlendkl1995

That makes sense because it stops someone accidentally firing up the Afterburner

    Thanks

  • GRECIA !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON! LOL

  • and than he ran out of fuel...

  • I wish I can learn how to fly.

  • Did anyone google the gps coordinates? lol

  • @sargedessy yes, its located on the third moon of Endor

  • @sargedessy Crete, Greece

  • non si vede niente!!!

  • This video should be called "How to hotwire an F-16"

  • thumbs up if you skipped to the ending to see if he ever took off

  • I think the F-16 looks more smexy than an F-22 o.0

  • The lesbians are offened by the FTIT gauge. You can't say FTIT in the Air Force until they fail the PT Test and get kicked out. Then you can say FTIT again. You can't say Hot Cock, Red Balls or Blue Balls because of the same. The lesbian can muff dive all day but once you say Red Balls they get offended.

  • Just Throw me in one I'll be flying in no time!

  • That is not simple! (noob's prospective)

  • hot wirers here's your challenge...

  • This is probably one of the most bad ass things I've ever seen.

  • You know the funy thing is, that after going deep into the F16 combat sim "OpenFalcon", I feel capable of starting a F16 in the real world :D

  • Greek air force video......HAF.....

  • Tach HQ on the line Sir.

  • Starting 2

  • is it me or does it seem like everyone in america get do to fun stuff? ive always wanted to fly a combat aircraft...

  • @snipiz it's just you. but we do have some of the coolest toys.

  • What if there is an emergency situation, Does s/he have to wait like that ? i mean it took more than 5 minutes! :)

  • @3qUInOc Well, the pilot can start rolling to runway in roughly 60sec, which is the time needed to start engines and main avionics....what is time consuming is the synchronization between the Internal Navigation System (INS) and the GPS (Global Positioning System). That's why you see RDY flashing at the end of the video meaning that INS is up and ready. The pilot can also choose an in-flight synchronization option, which works fine but slightly less accurate.

  • That would give me such a woody everytime I got to start that thing up

  • "thats the pilot inputting mission parameters from the box.", You thinking about DTU cardridge?

  • You forgot to shout "clear prop!"

  • @dboy4ever More like "Clear turbofan!"

  • wish there was a take off after this.

  • thumbs up if you saw salt at 4:41

  • there's noone in that jet and it's starting up all by itself.

    it's.....Tha Haunted F16 !!!

  • This video is sex to my eyes and ears.

  • what is wrong with a normal ignition key ?

  • APP turned on backwards. Gives opportunity for ECIU to take over as bus controller. However, miss this!!

  • don't we boys just love the human aviation technology? Geezus

  • @MegaReaper999 its jesus......dumbass

  • bet CIA monitor such video with nothing else to do...if ur brown...ur IP address gets flagged hahaha

  • why do pilots where gloves its not like things get slippery do they ?

  • @evoldevildogs well if your hands sweat you dont want them slipping off

  • I think I saw F-16s taking off from the base the Lat and Long coordinate to while I was deployed in 2009. That's around the Thessaloniki area, right?

  • @masterflizzle Not quite. Kasteli AB on Crete.

  • @nojyt Oh, okay. Well, we stopped there also although we weren't allowed off of our ship.

  • it's so easy a caveman could it.

  • shouldn't you not give away your position with Long and Lat? Now they will know where to aim the scuds

  • where's the radio?

  • i have zero hours in this jet

  • r u a fighter pilot?

  • THIS IS SO SICKKKKKK!!!

  • Holy crap that windshield is a great sound barrier

    *Ba dum tsch*

  • Ground crew could not possibly begin startup for air crew. The ladder sits right by the intake, how would he board the aircraft? Also, the cockpit layout is not classified. However the inner workings of many of the panels ARE indeed classified. Plus this thing is so old. No KY-58 panel, no OBOGS. That looks like FCC or GAC. The flood lights are prehistoric haha.

  • thanks now i know how to start my stolen f16

  • @sykeser100 are you osama bin laden?????

  • @sykeser100 wanna sell it i'll trade you a stolen pair of jessica simpsons panties lmfao

  • do you have to do this same start up sequence, say if you have to quickly scramble jets to intercept an United Emirates plane potentially carrying explosives?

  • @MnNick1 Ground crew can pre-flight and begin start up for the pilots in the case of a scramble, i think..

  • @MnNick1 From start up to launch, they can be in the air within 7 minutes, everthing is ready as needed in advance if in the event the horn goes off. However, all the real details for alert procedures are confidential for flightline personnel participating in Noble Eagle missions or any alert missions. We can't really give those details away.

  • 5 minutes to start up? :S is this how they do it on those aircraft carriers as well?

  • According to latitude and altitude that appears in a panel of f-16 corresponds to a database called Kastelli in Crete.

  • by then eveyone will be dead

  • This is the man's best friend.

  • koooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • ICP: Insane Clown Posse

  • cool film!

  • It's a pitty the dutch governement want's to sell all f16 and buy another plane..

  • is it possible, with all secret technology taken out, and missile and gun capabilities stripped, could one of these be owned by a qualified pilot? i know i know the fule is expensive, just be vague, is it legal to own one? (at all possibly????)????

  • @unpredictability well there are Civilian F-5's and a few F-4 Phantoms

  • @Warbirdguy1 wo! 0.0!!!! f-4 lol vietnam war =D who and how can anyone get a hold of that jet???? retired air force pilots? commercial airline pilots?

  • he's just gettin ready for work..

  • O.K. MindControleHammer....How...Please tell me...How do you start A F-16..??

  • Shouldnt have your phone in a cockpit lol :)

  • @f16crewcheif20 Well you know, your bound to start texting if you have a job as boring as a fighter pilot! ;-) Nothing to do....

  • I'd like to clarify a couple comments.

1st F-16's can not fire on the ground unless the weight on wheels switch is depressed. A pilot can not depress the switch as it is located on the landing gear.

2nd No he wasn't checking the EPU, but rather trying to get 6 six green indicator lights in the panel located under the EPU exhaust port. He checks it, clears the aircraft so the pilot can run the engines up (more than likely to free up the Fuel Flow Proportioner) and then rechecks for 6 green.

  • @jeresaun99 Right about the first wrong about the second. The ground guy checks for 6 green lights which are for the fuel pumps. If they are not on (depending on fuel tank config) then the pilot must shut down and fuel shop is called out. As for the run up, the first time he runs up is for the SEC check, for the engine, to make sure the engine operates in secondary mode on comand. The second run up IS to ops check the EPU using bleed air since u dont want to check is with the hydrazine.

  • @jeresaun99 yeap squat switch, or sometimes called WOW switch (weight on wheels) sounds like you know about aviation. You a pilot? Mechanic?

  • @Curicua

2A373B tactical aircraft maintenance (f-16 crew chief). Last duty station 69th FS @ Moody AFB, you?

  • @jeresaun99 Awesome, you gotta wonderful job to be able to work on my favorite fighter jet. I just recently graduated from an aircraft mechanic school and got my A and P license ( airframe and powerplant) and work for a B 757,B 767 and Airbus A320 repair shop (MRO). I hope that one day I can also work on fighters, maybe through contracts..

  • ohh ohhh ohhh ah shiny buttun!!! what this bottun do?? *press*

    * missile armed*

    *playing with flight stick*'

    *red bottun pressed*

    *sssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh*

  • LOL yahoo am F16 pilot now by watching this video with my pilot helmet on =P

  • just like starting a car!

  • The sound of that engine at about fifty per cent makes my dick hard.

  • OK... got all that... just one question... where's the choke??

  • It takes only 5 minutes to start it ? :P

  • hmmmm so many rolex watches. can i get one?

  • fuck so many buttons lOol :P

  • Could it be at Liliano? Near to Archangelos......

That lovely island in the mediterranean?

  • Fuck you, you lucky bastard.

  • very cool vid

  • On 4:27 , why it says "WARN" on HUD ???

  • @Paun991 My guess is because he didn't release his parking brake or engage the nosewheel steering or something. Other than that you've got me.

  • They're not worth stealing I don't see any 22" rims or even a cd player.

  • @ordep72 LOL YES!!!

  • I love flying these birds

  • GOOD IDEA! LETS POST INFORMATION ON YOUTUBE OF ENGINE RUN STEPS AND HOW TO START!

  • I don´t see any stereo, I guess it´s because too noisy

  • now i am going to steal one! :o

  • Do you test the EPU inside in the shelter!? Looks like a crew member is running to the plane for testing of the EPU exhaust.

  • Attention poster; I want to be you.

    Thanks,

    Earlydawn.

  • Where is the ash tray and giggy lighter?

  • @bmwnasher On the box it says "Ash tray and Giggy lighter not included". You can buy it for about $60 on internet. I know it's expensive and hard to install.

  • @PSNgregiskool Cheers for that i will try E bay first ...nice one

  • on voi rien!

  • This gives me a hard on.

  • You have to put it in "drive" dude, that's why your not moving!!!

  • Is the pilot actually inputting some kind of mission parameter/s in MFD?

  • Good but show the flight!

  • I wish one day I can do this and the noise is for real

  • sounds like my wife's hairdryer

  • @robertozube lollolololol

  • @robertozube what you mean is that it sound like your wife yelling at you

  • @robertozube

Well they both move air right?

  • @robertozube thats one powerful hairdryer my friend B)

  • @robertozube if that pilot turned on the afterburner, your wife wouldnt have any hair. lol

  • The F-35's electronics is so high tech that it is superior than any jet exsisting; youtube.com/watch?v=GLa2PSvBOMw

  • i wonder if what would happen if you get pulled over in an f-16

  • @killemallification1 What ever would happen if that were the case, you can always count on Gabriel Iglasius to make fun of it!

  • @beroth1 that guy is awsome

  • When the screen on the right updates it does so by fading out and and in, is that so that there are no sudden changes/flashes to distract the pilot?

  • 本物は○○装置起動!とかしゃべらないだね

  • Dope!!

But isn't this shit suppose to be classified?

  • @GamblesGranma Lmao its the worlds most famous jet, it would be imba to keep this classified as it is in 24 countries. Plus you can do the same stuff at falcon 4 AF XD

  • @GamblesGranma It is classified. I sat in a F 16 cockpit once, and I wasn't allowed to take a picture. But in Flight Simulator X you can buy F 16 as a very good add-on. There you have an copy of the f 16 cockpit, so it wouldn't be so classified..!

  • @GamblesGranma Lol why, so you won't be able to steal a yet and fly away with one?

  • The screech of air past the center strake of the intake will eventually ruin your hearing. Even with ear protection.

  • @KunsanMom Center strake?? You mean the inlet icing strut?? Besides, if that strut wasn't there, the suction would still sound the same. That struts doesn't have a real affect on the noise. And if u have the double ear protection like recommended, it aint that loud. lol

  • dude this is too cool...thank you so much for this video and full explanation

  • Kastelli Airport, Crete?

  • i love you beautiful plane ñ.ñ

  • Where is the lawnmower like pullstart...?....lol... Good clip..I would love to fly one of these birds...

  • What a startup, took him nearly 5 min. No wonder why they have pilot training.:D

  • lol you said that the start up is simple and you wrote like almost 4 paragraphs. for some reason that cracked me up

  • @Megalodon64 For a pilot and maintainer, there are over 30 steps in starting an f-16 engine. From the switchology to the warnings and cautions and all the oil/rpm/and temp limits. But when u start these up on a daily basis. Its very easy. when I ran these, it became so simple like starting my own car. lol

  • this isn't in the US btw! it's on a military base on Crete Island, Greece

  • @italy430 Yep. I checked the coordinates from the video and it is on Crete.

  • Man, you can just listin, and this old F-16 has problems

  • I don't like that much noise inside the cabin for a multi-million dollar vehicle.

how many Air Bags does it have ?

  • how much it can run on 1 liter?

  • @Rosalindify 1 litre will see you a flash from the engine as big a torchlight for less then a second.

  • power steering?

  • I thought they would close the canopy last in case of a fire during startup the pilot could get out easier.

just asking since someone stole My F16 before I got to take it for a boot.

  • Can anyone tell me what the green, red lights at the left side of the HUD are?

  • @HighestCyborg they are for the angle of attack probes. they are at 2 degrees up.

  • Amazing awesomeness!!

  • holy crap this is awesome!

  • Funny... sounds like an M1 tank starting up!

  • The kastelli base at crete, if the coordinates are correct.
