  • viaje 30 años atras y he recordado a mi padre !!trip 30 years ago and I remembered my father! thanks for this song! =)

  • uwoduhi! Los Indios Tabajaras...one of my earliest introductions to guitar, a gift from my father who also played. He admired them greatly. I am so grateful to find them here. sgi!

  • Excelente Interpretação

  • Phantastic, e´ Rhumba ?

  • only one reaction: MEASTRO,S, TIMELES

  • Bello

  • That is a hard dicicion, but a can live with that. The are sur a seldom fine couple of musicians. An example for the hole western atmosfere. Sensibility is the start from every kind of music.

  • Love it very much

  • @bessem1 Who cares. Go back to sleep. Fool.

  • @bigjack940

    you care...

  • Lisboa, velha cidade,

    Cheia de encanto e beleza!

    Sempre a sorrir tão formosa,

    E no vestir sempre airosa.

O branco véu da saudade ... See More

Cobre o teu rosto linda princesa!

  • Grandes Artistas linda musica 5*.

  • Oh how I love this music. Thanks for this wonderful sharing.

  • This was actually a big hit for Nelson Riddle in the early '60's, at about the same time he had a big hit with the theme from "Route 66."

The brother (they are brothers, yes?) that plays the melody bridges the gap, in a way, between Django Reinhardt and B.B. King.

  • beautifully done which makes the mind wonder in the south american countries and the title is related to Portugal. Wonder if there is a connection ?

  • There is one: because the Tabajaras were brazilian, and Brazil was conquered by Portugal. Portuguese culture left there its legacy.

  • fANTASTIC DUO ..... WONDERFUL MUSIC ...GOD-SEND .... THEIR TALENT IS OUR GOOD FORTUNE TO ENJOY ... THANKS ......

Sal

  • An authentic masterpiece in instrumental pop music. Excellent taste, sensitivity, rythm. Pure and simple guitar virtuosism. I have the vinyl LP "I´m getting sentimental over you" (RCA´s LPM- 3413) wherein Lisboa Antigua is the first track. I was so lucky for having discovered it in a dancing party in 1968. I immediately bought the record and made these artists my favorite guitar duo. No doubt, Los Indios Tabajaras are the best guitar duo in the world.

  • @dgoussal thank you for this reaction. Im fully agreed , Pure en in there own speed en sensibility.

  • @dgoussal

You are RIGHT, they are THE BEST for EVER. No one will ever play like them, not even close. Nato was the MOST virtuoso of the guitar in the history of the world. For EVER.

Thank you Nato Lima. Rest in peace.

  • @2Nino Inventive genius help make them among the best. One guitar had an extra bass string, the other, a fret extended down over the sounding board, giving them the combined 7-octave range of a piano - that's why their sound was unique! My channel of 800 playlists is a tribute to a century of the best music on earth & has lists for every year since 1900. Hope you come visit. chuck

  • Oh this song is too much beatiful!!!!!!!!!!! Great los Indios Tabajaras!!!I remember Maria Elena!!!!!Perla.

  • i was searching for this melody played by goerge benson. what i discovered is a far better rendetion of lisbon antigua. i never heard of los indios tabajaras, but i'm now one their fans. thank you for the video.

  • @soniapablito George Benson is a big fan of "Los Indios Tabajaras" as is Earl Klugh who also covered this tune on his album "Late Night Guitar" (1977). Although i love both George & Earl THIS version just brings me to my knees. (has done since 1967)

  • @soniapablito Not bad for just two Indian boys who stumbled, by chance, upon a guitar in the middle of the forest and from there the dream began...the duo were most certainly instructed by angels or the Creator himself.

  • I never heard a recording by

this duo that I didn't like!

  • Bellissima melodia.

    Viva il fado.
