A friend of mine bought one of the larger models of the ship, an had the interior grafted with custom "watertight" bulkheads and 16 compartments. She's been rigged with a little slide in the bow, and he has it perfectly ballasted. She takes a good 7-8 mins to sink total (sinking really speeds up after the water level reaches the boat deck) she rises to a 30 degree angle, and remains perfectly ballasted (no listing) as she sinks. Doesn't split...but goes fully vertical as she slips under.
