This is great. I was blown away when they played it on TV. BUT: I Just realized something! This is very apt as the Dr Who theme was originally composed by an Australian: a guy called Ron Grainer, who worked in the UK for most of his career.

@krumstets Yeah I agree, the series 4 (one before the current one) was great! Very strong compered to the current one. And I think they used a Didgeridoo in the background of the theme first of the new series (yes I am a sad fen boy).

@NarniaFan88 My favorite theme will always be the movie theme - though the sixth Doctor's comes in second place - There wasn't anything unique for season 4's theme (most of it's music was the same too) and while Series 5's theme isn't my favorite IMO it's quite solid - a lot like Seven's theme actually, the vortex is certainly an improvement

@olivera53 No, it wasn't. The Doctor Who theme was composed in 1963. Pink Floyd didn't even form until 1965. Pink Floyd did reference the theme, though, on One of These Days in 1971.
