  • How long is your hair, and also do you have thick hair?

  • cool video, what did u use in ur hair to hold it so well?

  • @rjravaz layrite superhold

  • Now if I was lucky enough to have a hairline that far forward I would attempt this!

  • I wish I was a man JUST so I could do this.

  • perfection!!!;)

  • @JohnPaulMJ sup dude sorry bout the wait ppl been asking about that shit comes up u know ill be trying my best to post it

  • @sxeeverardo Alright man it's no worries were all just excited cause we know you gonna do it better than anyone ever tried

  • Nice, nice, nice hair, thanks for this video!!!!!!!

  • Very handsome.

  • How long is your hair on the sides?

  • Um wow you're hot. I wish my bf would wear his hair like this :)

  • what are the lengths for this type of Pompadour ? If i were to get a cut at a barber shop?

  • I just started growing my hair to style it like you, sort of. Great tutorial, by the way. Well, my question is, my hair is really thick, is is more difficult to do it with thicker than thinner hair? Thanks in advance!

  • @519onyx hey my hair is the same way ive grown out my hair out for about 2 and ahalf months now i get like a military hair cut sides are a 1 almost bald and 4 on top but my hair can slick completly back how long is ur hair?

  • @sparkalanio well to answer 519onyx question its best to have thick hair easier to manage hair while combing as i have thick hair myself .. as far as haircutt is i just get a taper leave everything else as is

  • @sxeeverardo yea i have thick hair myself but i really wanna try this hair style and my hair is preety long now and ive been trying to make the style with gel and it wont work do i have to use hair grease inorder to get the same style? and when i go cut it what do i tell the barber just taper on the sides or what hit me back up thanks!

  • Holy crap, perfect! I wish any guys I knew would wear their hair in a pomp. So hot.

  • I fucking love that style! The 50's James dean, Elvis look is coming back in style big time in the uk! I'm growing mine out but wondered how short to make the sides and back on a decent ratio to the top! Any suggestions? Great look by the way! Seriously jealous!

  • Looks cool but after a while it's a pain in the butt everyday

  • i need help. My hair, i try to grease up, looks horrible. My hair is very hard to work with, my hair, is kinda like a mushroom, or a dome.

  • Pretty sick

  • ill be posting at new video on the 17th day after i get my cut at Hawleywoods barber ...to the one who disliked this video i dont blame you id dislike too if my hair didnt look like this ...a REAL mans hair

  • @sxeeverardo I REALLY hope you do. I love your vids man. Great haircuts and slicking and very instructive, too.

  • @sxeeverardo Can't wait ! The elvis pomp?

  • cool.

  • Man you know the hair looks great! Great video man....can't wait to see that Elvis video. I personally like to see some hair hanging down in the front, the neat look is cool but I like that tousled bad boy look.

  • you look like cesc fabregas

  • Cant wait to see the elvis one! Whens it gonna be up?

  • looks so good from the top

  • hey very cool men good luck

  • THATS REALLY COOL!

  • is your hair naturally black or do you dye it?

  • @nostalgic247 its actually brown the light flashes the color back and forth but no light looks black

  • @sxeeverardo oh ok thanks :)

  • how do yu ask for the pompadour "haircut"

like, what do you tell your barber?

  • @ionowattoput Hey! I'm a stylist, and I would say.. first off: choose wether you want short, tapered sides (think Jesse James) or longer, slicked sides (like the lovely gentleman in this video :) or Elvis) then make sure the length is about 4 in or so long on top. and ask to leave the front a little longer so you can have a fuller pomp. Hope this helps!

  • @RetroDollface1955 thanks doll ;)

  • @RetroDollface1955 yea it helps alot

i just realized i live really close to hawley woods barber shop where they specialize in this hairstyle

they knew what looked best :D thanks alot man

  • @ionowattoput id give the thanks too retrodollface1955 .. i thank you for watching my video and liking my rendition of Johnny cashs' hair .. stay tuned for Elvis Presley pompadour for i think i got it down :) thanks again

  • cool but need it longer at front i think man like johnny bravo

  • SEXY!!!!!!

  • Thanks :) Even if you don't want to upload it to YouTube you could just send me it on e mail with you starting from scratch using however much you need etc.. Would help a lot, if you could it's up to you

  • Should do a video for the appliance of the Layrite :)

  • @JohnPaulMJ it takes longer than combing it haha but alright

  • Just like Johnny Cash perfect!!!!

  • Can I have some hair info for this?

How many centimetres are your bangs, sides, top, back etc.. Am getting mine cut soon so it can grow like this so help would be appreciated :) Take care

  • Welp guess we all can't have hair like back in the day...good tip (if u don't already know) with layrite or any waterbased pomade after your done just put a light coat of hair tonic or three flowers any light grease on the outside of the pomp u get great shine but with hold of the better product cha-Ching

  • Daaaaamn, man. Buttery ass hair! Good shit man, keep up the good work.

  • @sp00nEg6 haha thank you men :D take care

  • clean clean

  • How does your hair have so much shine?!??!?!!! I've used everything royal crow gets the shine sucks for hold that's the only one I found that made my hair as shiny as yours.....

  • @Eddiediana3535 well thats all layrite superhold but only thing that sucks its only shiny when appliing when it drys up its gone and looks like gel .. if royal crown doesnt satisfy i use to use Murrays surperior that hold awesome and perfect shine only it melts in the sun and super tough to get out of you hair id suggest a water type pomade really good shine with medium hold and washes out

  • How many finger fulls of Layrite have you got in there?

  • @JohnPaulMJ i got alot dude takes longer to add the product than to comb my hair

  • Hey man :)

Any update news on the video for a slightly ;messy' elvis pompadour from early years? Like what his hair is like in King Creole?

  • @JohnPaulMJ sup dude unfortunatley my hair was a bit damaged after my last cut and have to grow out the sides a bit more and my bangs were shortened do to the fact that they were completly uneven

  • @sxeeverardo Ah thats not good to hear.. at least you know how to sort any problems like that. my hair is getting a lot longer now so i just need like a guide to go off an stuff.. cant wait for it

  • @sxeeverardo Well, make sure you go back to the same guy who did your hair when the video was done, becuase, man, the cut there is perfect. The taper in back is awesomely beautiful.

  • How long is your hair all over? Isit more or lessthe same legth before the first cut? Because I have the back and sides shaved short with a big quiff shaped flat top, like Kim Nekroman from Nekromantix. So the front can be slicked back fine but the rest is too short. :/

I think I want to change to this style, it even looks fine at the beginning of the video all slicked back.

  • You remind me of James Franco

  • It's like art.

  • i use murrays pomade for mine i was just wondering if lyrite is more comfortable to comb though your hair?

  • Swear I love your hair it's so sexy (:

  • Can anyone tell me how i get the wax out of my hair haha..?

  • @BVreptiles usually it takes a few days to really wash out, or wash your hair like a thousand times....or try layright :P ive hear good things about that brand

  • @BVreptiles peanut butter

  • haha its about time you made another video![: youre hair came out so clean! good job[:

  • @GumBeatingTV hehe nice to hear from u again :D and thanks

  • @sxeeverardo back at ya![: haha for sure!

  • P.S.: I just found a barber who REALLY knows what he's doing, and my hair is so much more fun and pleasing to style now -- everything just seems to style almost by itself. I'm just wondering... do you pick your stylist/barber carefully?

    Tom

  • @nereidsprite best question ive gotten by far... and yes i have to pick the one with experience . picking a rookie wouldnt know much to do with my hair so i only ask for a taper but with an experience barber i can go all out and ask to trim with the clippers or take some off the top and he/she will know what i mean .. the most success ive been getting is because of the clothes i where n stuff most of my barbers know what i want and how a pompadour should be. mistake made leting a rookie cut dew

  • @sxeeverardo Thanks for the compliment on my question. Just wanted to let you know I've been going back to the same barber, and he's still awesome. Does a great fade and pomp-y brush back on the front for me. Have been getting so many compliments it's not even funny. LOVE finding a really talented hair main, man!!

  • You got cool taste in music, but you can hear what you're saying a lot better without the music -- so thanks. Is that sexy-ass fat knot a full-windsor? You're tremendous in a white shirt and tie -- it makes you and your hair that much more handsome! Love 1:33-1:38 the best. That's an A++ fade in the back -- beautiful!! Your super-sharp part is hot, too!! Thanks for your vids. They are perfect to learn from. Tom

  • Nice hair dude!

  • @GrotesqueHyydra thank you

  • This is amazing dude, best one you done so far!

Is this the elvis style pompadour we talked about or are you yet to do that?

Either way i think this is great, i always preferre the side parted pomp its much cooler an a little less genaric. Keep it up!

  • @JohnPaulMJ thanks bro . and no still working on it its still really hard to perfect but im working on it

  • @sxeeverardo Ah cool no worries, good job cant wait to see it.

  • Excellent technique and beautiful hair. I love that look.

  • @chaucer55 thank you

  • Great hair and great video! Welcome back!!

  • very cool man. I use layrite too but add a top coat of Murrays Light, Tres Flores, or AGS 40wt Pomade for shine. My front isn't long enough to get a high pomp like yours plus I'm starting to notice it thinning on top some :( I hope I dont lose more cause I like the look. You manage to get your part nice and straight which I struggle doing. I like your method for parting it - I will try that to see if it makes it easier. Great video demo man. Thanks.

  • DOPE:)

    U MDE A NEW VIDEO..

    I MDE MINE BUT IM SCARD TO PUT IT UP:}

  • @GREASERDEUCE thanks dude yea i got one whats ur full name?

  • i miss you ever :(

  • @ewsua321 miss you too

  • Hey sick pomp man. What do people say about your pomp at work or are they used to it?

  • @TheGreaseCat they say "hi Elvis" haha or cool hair man reminds me of my highschool days back in the 50's

  • Really, really good. Actually its still very 50's! Loved it! How strong is layrite man?

  • @Britishguy18 the regular layrite hold fairly well but the superhold oh man like Murrays just washes out completly i recommend even though its about 15-16 bucks i think its worth it

  • @sxeeverardo thanks man! Yea cost isnt the problem, ill try it out sometime! Nice pomp man and thanks for the info!

  • @Britishguy18 no prob dude

  • this style looks fantastic.

    love your hair!

  • @hirsutey thank you very much ;)

  • looks great man!

  • @AstrangeDay7 thank you very much ;)

  • Nice. I havent been able to do anything like this in weeks. But hopefully, over summer I'll actually have enought time on my hands to start with my hair again.

  • @ABoredGreaser let me know when u make the new one

  • epic hair

  • @Norwayflex89 thanks

  • I personally preferred how you did your hair before, but this is still fantastic.

  • @YamiAura i agree but as the years go by u start to hate the greasy pomades and how it causes you to break out as you can see in this video my acnes almost completely gone cause ive been useing layrite but thanks again i hope to make more videos in the future

  • @sxeeverardo You can't make your old kind of pomp with layrite? That's unfortunate, but oh well. As long as you keep giving us pompy goodness in the future.

  • @YamiAura yea thats the unfortunate part but thanks

  • another great video from you, slick and shiny, i like it

  • @bukart thank you very much
