It's a good monitor, but the glares when there's even a bit of light hitting its glass screen are big strains on the eyes. The glass screen does help make the color more vivid and lively though.

The monitor is junk. Yes it's bright, but the colour accuracy is awful, and the viewing angles are horrid. Screen brightness is not uniform either. I upgraded to the HP LP2275w (professional model) which uses an M-PVA panel and it's far superior. Costs about twice as much though.

excuse me I don't agree with you LP2275w is the junk one maybe it has a better display, but has a many technical problems (mine got blackouts) I had called the technical support many times until the story ended up with no help and I donated it to a computer freak I know..now I use w2408h and it dose the job!

What happens if you play an old game or if you watch a movie which quality don´t match monitor´s???? Will you watch the movie or play the game in the middle of the monitor and have two gray or write or black unused space at the sides????

If u will put it on full screen mode - then you will see it in low quality. You can customize that, if u don't like that and get it into smaller mode, but then you will get those unused space arround. It all up to you.

I got the w2207h...out of the box it came with 3 screwed up pixels, one of them being an annoying flashing pixel...If you get 3 messed up pixels out of the box I fear it has horrible reliability AND its more expensive then other brands...I'm returning it and getting a Samsung...

That happened to me one time for some reason.

Put the disc in, that came with the monitor - the software you need is on there. Then when you turn the screen, the "pivot" software will flip the image vertically.
