Marco Simoncelli did a nice job last season and started absolutely brilliant the current, with a second level honda got ahead spies and fought hard with first level honda of dovizioso for the 4th place. Spies surely is a good talent but for me Simoncelli has been the greatest talent revelead due to the equipment available for him since he's on motogp.
@alexkarcher san carlo honda gresini now is factory team thats what I heard from the commentator which means the bike and the engine is the same with the repsol's, that's why simoncelli can be ahead of valentino rossi & ben spies in motogp qatar

I think Ducati should have tried to keep Casey and stole Jeremy Burgess the Ducati hasn't gotten worse everyone else has gotten better I also think Rossi has proven the Duc is a pig to ride injured or not(but casey owned it).It has been known as the career killer just ask Melandri he is an awesome rider as is Hayden .Every rider from first in gp to last in 125's are amazing for anyone to suggest they are less is a fool we all know the race is bike and rider if one isn't happy the other suffers.

i have a feeling, that this motogp 2011 session will be the greatest of motogp session ever, if in the previous session we know what we called as THE FANTASTIC FOUR (lorenzo, rossi, stoner, pedrosa), but in 2011 we would know what we called as THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN (lorenzo, stoner, pedrosa, rossi, spies, simoncelli, dovisioso). I think those seven CRAZY riders would dominate the race this season, but I have a feeling that the most battle will be JORGE LORENZO vs. CASEY STONER!!!

like the past seasons stoner still owns the qatar gp, and good job for honda because almost all honda guys made it to be at top ten. and good job also for rossi because he is the fastest ducati rider in the qatar gp and i hope that the doctor will come back soon.

stoner won in 2007 because of his bridgestone tyres, why do you think the michelins were dropped, theyre crap, rossi went out the next year on bridgestones and rinsed stoner out of it, when rossi went to yamaha it was a crap bike and he made it a great bike, the ducati in 2007 was a powerhouse it was destroying every other bike in the field on the straights which ws giving stoner wins of up to 18 seconds over everyone else, thats not the case anymore the honda clearly has the grunt rossi

I was really surprised when he started the race from 9th place and before the first turn he was into second. Too bad he braked late and he gone all the way back to 6th
ducati is the fastest bike on the planet, stoner has proved it many times, rossi just couldn't handle it, he has been with ducati since november last year, compare it with when he first joined yamaha, it was not earlier than january, but rossi always get excuse, like blame it on his shoulder.

but he is an asshole, i even laughed when he crashed last time, he doesnt respect other riders.
I hope rossi gets 1 with his bike, and see a battle between rossi and stoner or pedrosa, they respect eachother!
spies simoncelli and dovisioso are great as well. randy de puniet fits in this last group i think, but has bad luck or something.

He's always laughing and having fun, others are always crying that it is dangerous. even if theyr are in the wrong place and the dangerous ones in track. go look at Motegi 2010. He was next to gibernau in that corner. block passing is fair, it's racing. pluss, not that you mentioned it, stoner even admitted later on that it was a fair race in laguna. lorenzo copies rossi with his red and white leathers, devil and angel, party/show thingies after winning, just like rossi did back in the days

like the past seasons stoner still owns the qatar gp, and good job for honda because almost all honda guys made it to be at top ten. and good job also for rossi because he is the fastest ducati rider in the qatar gp and i hope that the doctor will come back soon.

stoner won in 2007 because of his bridgestone tyres, why do you think the michelins were dropped, theyre crap, rossi went out the next year on bridgestones and rinsed stoner out of it, when rossi went to yamaha it was a crap bike and he made it a great bike, the ducati in 2007 was a powerhouse it was destroying every other bike in the field on the straights which ws giving stoner wins of up to 18 seconds over everyone else, thats not the case anymore the honda clearly has the grunt rossi

ducati is the fastest bike on the planet, stoner has proved it many times, rossi just couldn't handle it, he has been with ducati since november last year, compare it with when he first joined yamaha, it was not earlier than january, but rossi always get excuse, like blame it on his shoulder.

Rossi has won a lot but i had a bet when he sigend to Ducati that wasn't gonna make it run has Stoner and i'm pretty sure i'm gonna win...still will be sad for ducati but good lesson for Vale.....

gp is very physical and even though hes not old by typical standards hes been around for a while. when your body takes a beating for that long it doesnt ever heal 100 percent again

Great race, we have a very exciting season coming up.
Stoner was absolutely untouchable on the Honda, but then again he's always strong at this track, so the others may be closer than they think.
Lorenzo was brilliant yesterday. He kept in touch with the Hondas (and beat them) with (in my opinion) an inferior Yamaha.
Rossi was great too, had his shoulder been fine, I think he would've finished 4th.
This is gonna be one hell of a championship! Far more difficult to win than recent years.

well said Jsteven Rossi almost always won with the strongest bike now is to face the reality of how difficult is to drive a ducati and wht happen??shame he feel a bit of pain???Real drivers race and fight till the end even with broken legs so Vale better race and don't find excuses... @sicksadlittleworld7 remember the bike he rode to victory on his first year with yamaha? that was hardly a bike worthy of a top 10 finish let alone a world championship but he made it happen. And it was the other way around. Biaggi always complained about Rossi having the better package all along. Biaggi complained and Rossi proved him otherwise...

Anyone else on here sick of hearing about how good Rossi is and how he'll come back and all the excuses in the book about why he isnt winning? Yes his injured but so was Stoner when he was winning races on the Ducati. Yes his on a crap bike but so was Stoner.. and he won a championship lol. 2ndly anyone else get really irritated by Lorenzo? Just his celebrations and how arrogant he is.. What was with him not shakin Stoners hand on the podium?
