Just buy the heavy bag itself and watch an instructional video on how to fill it with your desired equipment. Saves you alot of money, if your willing to put in a little time. Love your vids, MMA fighter from the great white north.
Awesome. Thanks for the advise. My sports store is starting to recognize me cause I go in there all the time and is getting equipment little by little. I had gotten a bag bundle which had gloves, wraps, and a skip rope. I had to get longer wraps that were 180 inches cause I couldn't wrap the proper way with 100 inch wraps. Thanks for the advise this is awesome :3
i use a 10kg bag of sand, wrapped in heavy duty pvc bags (the kind you get from IKEA) for bareknuckle punching. shake the bag up now and again, cos when it settles it's like punching a brick wall! good for strengthening bone tho', but if you really just want to learn how to punch without hurting your knuckles, try a karate style "heel-palm" punch...very effective and practically no strain on the hand bones :-)
thanks denny on these great tips. its reassuring to hear from a professional about cramps in your hands when skipping are natural. i use the pvc rope with the small handles and holding the handle between your index and middle finger and the rest of the fingers gripping the handle. havent experience cramps since doing this.
