This is one of my favorite melodies the Rock-aFire performed. The arrangement of the songs is fantastic and the selections really blend together very well. My fave Beatles era ( Rubber Soul/Revolver) feature heavily..thus another reason i love it. The ending is awesome too!
This was pretty good, far better than CEC's band and I used to love CEC (mainly because Showbiz was closed and heh, CEC was closer to home so we went there more often. But in retrospect, I wish we went to Showbiz more often!
I agree with theblackhand2 as well, the Rock-afire Explosion is so much better than Munch's Make Believe Band. I wish they could of kept them for a few more years after Chuck E. Cheese took over. Nice Beatles tribute!
This was my favorite robot band when i was a kid! Today at the fun zone that i go to they don't work anymore! Now i can see them on youtube, working and hearing them sing!
no reply, i'll be back, drive my car, eleanor rigby, every little thing, and your bird can sing, day tripper, good day sunshine, taxman, a hard day's night, i want to hold your hand
Don't worry about it, man, I got 'em too. I think it's that they're so much more detailed than the Chuck E. Cheese robots. Look close enough, and you can see every little wrinkle... (shudder) It's an acquired taste.
Yes, and the pressure isn't ridiculously low. They actually look like they are alive. Unlike *cough*Chuck E. Cheese*cough*. And they could have done something more creative with the spare mac valve/computer plug the extra characters occupied.
You know, Showbiz went through the trouble of getting good singers, picking songs everyone in the restaurant would like, and making really ahead-of-their-time animatronics.
But the robots are CREEPY. I can appreciate them now that I'm older, but they terrified me as a little kid. I do like the Rock-A-Fire Explosion better than Chuck E. Cheese, but you gotta give the CEC Show credit for putting forth characters than didn't scare the bejezzus outta their target demographic.
yea it sux how they cant have a comeback anyways. Because everyone grew up... And when you grow up you sound different. The only one that might sound the same are maybe Fatz, and Dook. Because they looked a little old and when you are old most of the time, you voice will sound mostly like it did ten years ago. But Mitzi DEFIANTLY will sound different since the person is a adult now.
She does sound a bit different but I think Shalice's voice sounds better now than it did then - go to rockafire's channel, watch the Interview video or the Shakira video, sounds almost like a 'lost' show.
I was scared too at five back in '88 when I saw the robots not moving after the shows but call me weird, I soon grew fascinated and actually climbed up on the stage behind the curtain. I got in trouble but it still kicked ass. I am a horror writer now, go figure. LOL.

God, those things were so ugly. I remember when I was little, me and one of my friends snuck behind the curtains at Showbiz and saw those robots just sitting there with thesse stupid faces looking forward. It was one of the creepiest things to see as a 5 year old.
I had to get through that for the first year of my life. I was just wondering, "WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?!" These puppets were so ugly. I still can't bring myself to look at them, but for some reason I can come in and see "Country Bear Jamboree" anytime over this. Maybe I just didn't have any taste for rock music in those days.
And a good thing I know the Beatles' music now or else I wouldn't see this. This is an awesome medley. I gotta sing this live sometime.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh nostalgia! I can smell the overly greasy pizza and hear kids screaming. I still have some of those skeeball tickets. I wonder if I can redeem them still and get a giant plastic comb?
I can just imagine. I had to get through that for the first 9 years of my life. Birthday parties in arcades were almost hell for me. Not a bad arrangement of the medley, though.
does beach bear have a crush on mitzi?

I wonder what Rolfe And Earl's costume would look like.
And did you know that Rolfe And Earl has the same initials as Rock Afire Explosion:
RAE- Rolfe And Earl?

Very cool video. Makes me wish that Show Biz Pizza kept these characters in concept unification.

Some really disturbing uncanny-valley emotions from me there, which is strange, as those....things are hardly similar to humans.
