its rehearsal, give her a break. on stage i might say its a little show off, but how many people can balance like that!!! Hell, she deserves it. and its 11 seconds!

lol ok ok fair enough. I love Tamara, I met her once after a show and she is a true artist. This video just represents technique, which is why i thought it unnecessary as it overshadows her other skills.

There's a time and a place for that kind of thing....like a rehearsal (with at least two cameras filming!)

She certainly doesn't base her performances on tricks so she's cool! :)

Fouettes and unsupported balances do seem to be her 'thing'. Her black swan PDD is electrifying and I'm sure I've seen her balance even longer than this clip! And not those awful wobbly balances but rock steady ones that make the whole audience feel they are in a dream! - I think it's totally appropriate in BS PDD!

Qué buenos los comentarios durante el equilibrio de Tamara: "te amo, Tamara"... "yo la mato". Qué suerte tuvieron ese "amante" y esa "asesina" en poder presenciar un ensayo histórico. Muchísimas gracias por compartirlo.

OK, I take it back -- I just saw the clip of this

in performance, and damned if she doesn't pull it off on stage as well! Not only that, but she also comes out of the second balance in attitude into soutenu entirely on her own without Bocca's assistance at all after about 5 seconds.

OK, she holds that last balance in attitude for like 8 seconds! -- there is no other clip of the Don Q pas de deux on here where anyone else comes even close to that. Admittedly, this was just in rehearsal, but STILL...amazing....

i'm sorry to tell you this but there is.. look at the video of alina cojocaru "Alina Cojocaru and Johan Kobborg Don Q" she is totaly amazing!.. well , Tamara is amazing too but alina is just WOW! that video is excelent, and the best part is that she moves her arms and head while she is at the balance.. is simply amazing!

they are totally amazing, he is a wonderful dancer and they are the perfect couple! i love them! i counted the seconds she was in balance and she was 13 seconds.. AMAZING!
