@pennypacker90 I see. the audio said it was a dumpster for metal shavings. afterwards, it turned out to be magnesium not hot metal that caused a dumpster explosion.

@GirlsGutGutsTooFFEMT I had seen water sprayed to hot metal and it does explode. I was not sure if a metal fire can cause an explosion after water gets sprayed until now. what is used to put out a metal fire?

Sad.....Sad situation.

Seemed to be a bit of lag in central`s response back to units on scene. Verifying the ambulances. I never heard central verify the request for hazmat.
