yo, im doin my dreads for 2 months now. and thier getting greasy. i was wondering how i can get them less greasy. but right now im hoping its jus a stage of the dreading process.
@serendipitous123321 wash your hair then the greasy goes away..... if that dont help then idk whats up cuz my dreads arent dirty or greasy .. but i didnt use wax either so idk if u did or didnt either way its on u but yea
@serendipitous123321 Don't put any heavy oils or spray on your dreds but if they start getting really greasy get some Apple cider vinegar and pour 2 cups or more over the dreds and rub it in and the vinegar will dissolve the grease. You may need to repeat this once or twice depending on how long your hair is and how bad the grease buildup is. After that, rinse and then shampoo your dreds as normal and you will notice there is no grease.
@theloyalone100 woah this is old! crazy im 20 months in now and i posted this at 2 months. but thanks anyway! what i do now is just water rinses about every 4 days and shampoo rarely. thanks peace
Thanks for the response and thanks for the props on meh dreads :)
I do need to add some more beads n' stuff. When I had my big dreads I had all kinds of stuff from jelly rings to a giant Burton peyote stitch :) I actually have a few beads n thing things in my dreads now but they're pretty small and I think most of them are in the back...
Looks like I've got a rasta peyote stitch and a few glass beads...I'll have to show them off in a future Vlog :)
