no Dumbass, 99.9% of all wireless networks (SAME THING AS HOTSTOP) Are WEP locked. This means you need a 20 letter RANDOMLY-GENERATED key to connect. Wifi radar cant connect to thoes, I KNOW. Tried it on my friends. We had to enter my WEP key on his itouch so he could connect.

It doesn't depend on the ipod...it depends on the strength of you router.They cost upwards of £20. Safari on it is useful but the screen is way too small for viewing websites properly (I have to tap a hell of a lot just to navigate a site) oh and typing on the ipod touch takes a long time to get used to (it's very fiddly, so even ebuddy has a downside. Also, it won't load java/flash at all (major boo boo) so you can't play games via wifi or watch vids other than youtube. I hate this a lot.
