musictech what on earth are you babbling about? He is playing with too much distortion creating a dated sound, like its come back from the 80's or something. I dont want to make anybody feel bad, the internet is a place where one can speak freely, if you upload a video of yourself playing guitar you should be ready to also accept negative comments as well as positive ones.

What is too much for you might be not enough for someone else...So your rude and disrespectful comment is completely pointless just like your existence in this world!!! This is very good picking. Notice his pick hand? He keeps his fingers in. This is a much more efficient way of hold the pick. It allows him to make strong pick strokes with a much smaller radius. Well done!

I think his phrasing is quite good. Obviously some Malmsteen influence there but I think he tastefully adds some nice stuff. GREAT vibratos & bends. Tone is sweet as well. Keep up the great shredding!!

hendrix is amazing, but its just not his time anymore. Shred style has taken alot of mainstream and while many don't sound good like dragonforce there are still amazing musicians with this style. Mozart and Bach used really fast sequencing as well. Its the musicians that balance it and maintain the ability to tell a story with their guitar that we will remember out of the thousands of shredders we have now.

I can agree with that, but there are so many influences that made hendrix. Its a giant path with different branches based on each musician and the path he takes. Greatest of a time isn't even a term that should be used to describe a musician. I will bet you that hendrix would disagree with you saying that. Music isn't a concrete thing. This is good this is bad. Its how each musician communicates to the individual who is listening.
