i lived in thorton heath in 93 and it was pathetic to watch rich white kids mimicing these guys. haha wicked raw thats all i heard for 2 years. but jungle wouldnt be what it is now without them. god bless them. now im back on the west coast of canada and llivershot your wrong. there are lots of musicians here doing all sorts of footwork creating scenes that will probably go nowhere but they are definatly arsed to do it. just ignorant to think otherwise.

"totally new music" a point that I think was lost on a lot of people, this is dance music that marked a definitive break from all of the American post-disco EDM styles that came before it, and it could only have happened in London, Jungle was a completely new form of music, it wasn't simply a mash-up of rare groove, soul, and reggae, it's the product of all that, coming together in one unique package. Such a pity it became so formulaic, pity also that the dull 2 & 4 dNb took over.
