    When talking rwd. And the power can actually be put down on the ground. The most powerfull car will always get the better 60'. If built properly of course.

    ex: NA 278whp car vs turbo 278whp car with same weight , Na car will have better 60 footers.. yeah you can add anti lag to the turbo car but u still have to build boost.

  • Thats what a 2step launch control is for it builds boost at the line. Also i would like to see proof of faster 60ft times. There are plenty of turbo cars ive seen that can get 1.6 60 ft times or faster.

  • All motor cars cut better 60's and are much more consistent, you clearly dont know much about racing these cars, it shows in your responces.....

    Why do you ask? Because the powerband of an NA car is much different than a turbo car, the NA cars dont make the huge torque that the turbo motors do, and hook up very well in FWD app's whereas the Turbo cars can easily spin through 4th gear.

  • A N/A 4 banger still has its power way up top. I dont see any evidence showing a better 60 foot time in a turbo versus N/A car. My friends awd talon smashes all the N/A honduhs from the start and he always has great 60 ft times because of his launch control on DSMlink. Your talking like all turbo cars are the same the drivetrain is a big factor as well awd will beat fwd every time out the hole.

  • yeah all motor is better and with 310hp you can run 10s easy turbo you gotta have 600hp to 700hp to run 10s

  • Im not an expert but i think you need in the 320hp+ to get in the 10sec and that would be high 10s and with boost 660whp+ would get you in the mid 10s.

  • lol you can easily take a 500whp turbo civic deep in the 10's at 135-140mph, and the turbo cars are several hundred pounds heavier than the NA cars.

  • i wouldnt say several hundred pounds the only weight that is added is the intercooler setup and the turbo manifold and the turbo itself. Last time i checked thats not hundreds of pounds.

  • The classes that these cars race in have very different minumin weights, 10.9 ALL motor would probably be an 12.0 at the SFWD/TS/Outlaw Turbo weight

  • It all has to do with how much the car weighs man. Think of your statement for a second why would it take a boosted car 2x the power to make the same time? It doesnt it has to do with power to weight ratio.
