  • This is the reason I'm a Carolina fan and proud to be one <3 let's go Cocks!

  • we got a great game ahead of us this week! lets go cocks!!!!!!!!

  • Great video

  • 0:35 I came.

  • Great selection of plays. i remember watching every single one. What an awesome season.

  • South Carolina's logo is one of the worst in all of sports in my opinion and Idc if there is a story behind it or what not there's just no reason to have chosen a rooster raised for illegal cockfighting as your mascot like really it's like they planned to fail and frankly I would be suprised if it doesn't get changed soon

  • @hisaoawesome First, if you think cock fighting was illegal when The University of South Carolina was founded in the 1800's, then you're wrong. Second, you need to pick up a history book and actually read it. Thomas Sumter, a General during the American War for Independence was nick named The Gamecock because of his fighting spirit and all of the trouble he caused the British here in South Carolina. You stick with one of your dime a dozen mascots and we'll keep ours thank you.

  • @TrooperSC Ok, youre assuming what I think instead of reading my point It doesnt matter to me if there is a story behind it what a gamecock is is a rooster raised for cockfighting understand that, as far as I know thats illegal in the US in the 21st, if the mascot is meant to show general sumpters spirit than it is doing a bad job .find another college with the Seminoles as there mascot, you cant. an the only reason there arent more schools using gamecocks is because they dont want it

  • @hisaoawesome How about you understand this. A gamecock is a type of rooster naturally suited for fighting and are closely related to wild game fowl. These roosters will fight each other REGARDLESS of human contact because it's their natural instinct to fight (to defend territory, fight for mates, etc. in the wild). This is how Thomas SUMTER (NOT Sumpters) got his nickname and this is the mascot USC adopted. Not after cockfighting but after the NATURAL instincts of game fowl, aka Gamecocks.

  • @hisaoawesome p.s. And the same can be said about the Seminoles, that "no one else wants that mascot."

  • @hisaoawesome You're a dumbass.

  • @bradg260 And you make a solid argument to counter my point :D

  • i saw our schedule today and i see undefeated noone on that shit can hang with us

  • Ready for the 2011 Season. GO GAMECOCKS!!!

  • This is the best 2010 hi-lites video I have seen of the Gamecocks.

Can't we start the 2011season now? Pretty please?

  • Great video brother! Go Gamecocks!

  • 2011 will be even better. SC should win the SEC East again and win atleast 10 games in the regular season.

  • Great video! Go cocks! BEAT FSU!
