  • isnt this where paddy brown was based on 9/11?

  • Q?

  • Q IS BAD

  • 10-75??? 10-4!

  • Nice Q2B

  • ooooooooooohhhhh that q sound is cool

  • e-one is owned of saulsbury .

  • the best firefighters in the world in that city

  • um you mean 2003 E-One Saulsbury Custom....Saulbury is a chassis customizer who's parent company IS E-One.

  • one guy said this is fucking nice

  • Rescue 3 is in Queens right? Or is it the Bronx?

  • big truck !!!!!!!!!

  • i was told that any fd or retireee can park in any firehouse for free as long they got there in the window.... id

  • Haaa, it looks like a weird bus rounding that corner.

  • Not a federal Q, it's a Superchief.

  • @MrFWDSeagrave Yeah, looks and sounds more like a B&M Super Chief. I mean, it is one, so that makes sense.

  • the city should move that one part of the concret so they can pull out fast

  • @fdnyemt5330 head to the FDNY website and look up their October 2007 Press Release and read up on MERV 5. Anyway it's a similar model to MERVS 1,2, the new 4, (the old one still used is a spare former Bureau of Training school bus) a 2004 Thomas/American La France

  • Rescue 3 moved beginning this year to their more modern quarters nearly 3 blocks south on Washington Avenue or 1/2 a block to the where the cameraperson is stationed recording this video and 3 blocks back of it. There new quarters is next to an EMS station though more importantly gives them ability to do drills in it. RES3CUE is of "Da Bronx" and though citywide serves the entire Bronx and northern Manhattan. They are not from Washington Heights!

  • MERVs are located at hospitals except for MERV3, But MERV2 (the Bronx one) which is a rig similar to MERV1 is stationed in Jacobi Hospital

  • It's a real q because it doesn't sound muffled like the eq2b and it growls more

  • its actually a superchief siren

  • no its not

  • They should make those doors wider.

  • those sirens are LOUD! just look at the guy holding his ears.

  • rescue 3 is from washinton heights i seen it respond myself

  • Thanks.

  • a squad is an enhanced engine with about the same tools as both an engine and truck and rescue but the main difference between squads and and anyother engine truck or rescues is they man a second piece a haz mat support truck . the squads aside from the haz mat units are the only ones with that

  • That Q in the face must have been real nice.

  • Can somebody tell me which firehouse in the bronx has a "MERV" unit?

  • Can somebody tell me what's so special about a "squad" company?

  • @R3rules...a squad company is basically a bad ass truck company....in other words the truck responsible for technical rescue...they go to structure fires and also technical calls that may not warrant a heavy rescue truck (considering theres only a few rescues that cover the entire city)

  • Thank you for clearing that up for me. Can you also explain the difference btw a batt and a fire chief?

  • Well theres the chief of the whole department which is a pretty good job...i think they do a lot of office work....but there are several battalion chiefs spread out across the city which respond to calls and are the incident commander for all of them....usually they are housed with another engine and truck

  • Oh okay. Did the city always have battalion chiefs because I only remember each station having a fire chief back in the day.

  • I wish all fdny trucks had this same siren.

  • I love that siren and that horn is fucking awsome.

  • nice Q. i hope they remembered to take it off before it went to service

  • this is the first time ive heard a q on an FDNY apparatus

  • Best looking front to a firehouse I've ever seen...

  • check out e33 ladder 9 on great jones street in manhattan. Its the most beautiful firehouse in the world

  • Its definetly a q, but the brake is not there, which makes since for FDNY, fast wind down so they dont "bother" the people. Stupid laws...

  • im pretty sure that is a q, just sounds like it has a broken brake....which causes the fast wind down.

  • yeah it is its just winds down fast

  • man a true blue fedral q on an fdny truck... this is great!!

  • Yeah, something else.

  • it is a saulsbury body and chassis, the company was not sold to E-1 yet.I live miles from the factory and watched all the saulsbury trucks get built from the early 90's until they closed.....

  • @warnersnative but e-1 didnt close

  • @warnersnative

actually is it an E-One chassis, Saulsbury made bodies only

  • How's it a 2002? I saw in a documentary that particular rig was at Ground Zero on 9/11.

  • they got a new rig? its not that hard to figure out dude....

  • YEE YEE the Q

  • someone forgot to close the rear door. not much room for error when u back into the station either holy shit haha

  • its for easy access getting in and out the truck the keep it open

  • Nice to hear a NY truck with a Q AND using it.

  • @bradtaylor32 It's actually a FS Model 28, but it Sounds clearly like a Q2B.

  • @mintz515 It's still a mechanical q.

  • where is r-3 located?

  • 453 E 176 St in the bronx i believe

  • Comment removed

  • if you saw it it 2007 then i thought it went down at 9/11

  • the address is 453 east 176 street

  • it wuld be sickkly 2 haz a dual tone wit a Powercall n a Q on a FDNY resQ3

  • It is a Q but its rare because they aren't allowed to have Q sirens in NY because of the ECHO it makes in the city .

  • Looks like they are more out of the City's tall buildings where the echo is made, I guess the Q is ok there?

  • I thought they only had Eq2b sirens?

  • They do, but some company's put Qs on their trucks along with their normal sirens.

  • However the emblem in the grille says, "Salisbury" but definitely an E-One cab.

  • It's definitely an E-One cab. The slanted window on the door is the dead giveaway.

  • That is not an E One, it is a Seagrave!

  • Hahahahah!! I wish it was a Seagrave!!

  • Not seagrave or E-one. in the description it says sailsbury.

  • It's both.

  • Actually it's an E-1 chassis with a Salisbury body.

  • yeah, that's kinda what I meant =D

  • If it was a seagrave it would have the trademark grill and lettering on the front.

  • what street is that station on

  • Hey! Cecil B. DeSchmuck! Looks like you flunked movie skool. Also, tell your friends to keep their mouths shut while you are "filming".

  • i love rescue 3 my dream to be their r.i.p to all of their fallen brothers

  • It's a 2002 Saulsbury body on an E-One chassis.

  • For one I am pretty sure that doesn't say e one on the front. That looks nothing like the emblem. And as far as the Q I bet it is a "real" Q, but the quality of the video and camera used to record it might have made it sound wierd.

  • Didn't notice that this was their new rig. Should have looked closer.

  • I think it's a Q with bad bearings on it, which would explain the quicker winddown. But I do remember the Mack they had which had a Q under the front bumper.

  • but its sounds like a real Q how can u tell?

  • its mechanical but its not a "Q".

  • umm...yes it is

  • Umm... no it isn't

  • You're correct, but I'm pretty sure it did have an actuall Q at one point.

  • Don't get me wrong it sounds good.

  • yeah, but it's hard to beat an actuall Q

  • Gotta love a Seagrave with a Q. Even if the crew installed it themself. Great sounding air horn also.

  • UMMM NO rescue 3 is a E-One not a seagrave nor to they look anything a like. FDNY has never had a seagrave heavy reascue frontline.

  • um for one that looks like no segrave

two can you not see the big e-one one the grill?!?!?!?!

  • Yeah!! Let that Q scream!!!

  • Hell yeah a real Q. you can't beat that.

  • And a great sounding airhorn to boot! This rig is beastly!

  • dude dont ever tal shit about the fdny asshole

  • no no no i love fdny just not the lights on that truck so dont get bitchy

  • GO suck a cock

  • i believe a report of a fire

  • whats is a 10-75?

  • a 10-75 is a conf working fire

  • THAT SWEET SOUND ON AN FDNY RIG!

  • Firefighters really dont give a shit how much their sirens annoy you and your "ladies".

  • it's 10-75 NOT 10-10.....10-10 is a request from the dispatcher for unit location
