Eat fiber and fat together and the body can't save it...also eat like half a piece of fruit 20-30 minutes before ur meal to raise ur blood sugar and u won't get a sugar craving afterward :)
Does nobody know what carbohydrates are? They are fruits, vegetables, and basically any plant-based foods, like what you stated to avoid(bread/pasta). Fruits/veg arn't in the fat/protien category, so they'd have to be carbs. Although they do have a lot of protien in certain ones. Go vegan! Or low fat/high carb raw vegan.
I did have been sticking to a low carb diet and in a week my starting weight was 151 and I got down to 142.6! I only have carbs at breakfast which is oatmeal. The only time I haven't stuck to this is tonight pita sandwich for dinner and I had popcorn over the weekend. But other than that i will see how this goes..:)

@tasha7758 yah it worked very well for me but it's hard and takes alot of will power, if you even taste something like chips or cookies there will be an uncontrollable desire to eat ALL of them so don't do the chew and spit thing. Good luck
Hi have you considered the Acuspeed 24 Diet (just google it)? I am told some great things about it and my grandma burned crazy amounts of weight with it.
Go vegan, eat as much as you like of the right foods( brown rice,bread and pasta, beans lentils, as much fruit and veg as you like, some nuts and seeds, drink eight glasses of water more if you are very active, and excerise for 30 mins a day (walk run cycle swim whatever, you enjoy doing, never be hungry, lose the weight, I made these changes 4 months ago and have dropped 28 lbs, should have done it 20 years ago, it has worked for me and its a lifestyle change, no going back, now
@TheSnuffy1994 Vegans can eat rice its a grain no animal by products or dairy in it I like the wholegrain but white rice is ok too, and bread vegans can also eat bread But must be careful alot of the bread in your local store has dairy in it and it is complete rubbish.. but proper bread as bread should be without all the preservatives and additives is just flour, pinch of salt, raising agent and water :-))

I was Vegetarian for a while before I went vegan, veganism is very misunderstood, people panic about giving up the dairy, parents probably think you need it for calcium... but calcium in all green veg in fact more calcuim in almonds then cows milk and its in a form the body can utilize better then milk.... you keep with with the vegetarian diet.... check out Gary yourofsky youtube video called the best speech you will ever hear. xxxx

I indeed eat a few almonds a day now, I love almonds. My parents still force me to eat a normal dinner and bread etc tho. I will definitly check that vid out, thanks a lot. @MsMilliemay I'm vegan, and can't lose weight, just because you're vegan doesn't mean you will lose weight, because you can still get 3000 calories easy a lot of vegetables and beans have a lot of calories and saying you can eat as much as you want is false, I'm 15 5'9 and 130 pounds. I have realized I won't lose weight by eating what I want because I have been eating around 2000 calories a day and seriously. its not the best. So yes it has health benefits but you don't always lose weight
@KittyRwinner if your 5'9 and weigh 130 lbs you have a BMI of 19 which is normal range BMI 18-25 is normal if you lost weight you would be under weight which is why you stay on the same weight eating 2000 cals a day... you have to eat a hell of a lot of cabbage spinch etc to reach 2000- cals. I WAS over weight I did go vegan I did eat when I was hungry I did eat lots and lots within a vegan diet, and I did lose the weight 1-2 lbs a week every week, I never counted cals that was my experience...!

I tried not eating meat at all for three months combined with lots of exercise and list half a stone. I'd already lost another stone on top of that, just from cutting down meal portions. You should eat a big breakfast like porridge, something that releases energy slowly. Eat something like pasta or rice for lunch and something lite for dinner. For snacks eat fruit. And exercise too! As horrible as it is at first, after a couple of weeks it feels amazing! :)
Low carb diets don't work... its called weight watchers and calorie counting..eat 1'300 - 1'600 calories a day and only good fats like walnuts etc then you'll lose weight. i was on weight watchers and lose 70 pounds. just some advice.. don't starve yourself... it makes you fatter/ and or unhealthy.

@hhbsw your body still needs carbs to function such as grains, beans etc. If you eat a healthy sensible well balanced diet you will lose weight and or maintain your weight. A body needs all the nutrients of fruits, veggies, milk products, protein, whole grains, beans, legumes, and nuts to be heatlhy. I have weighed the same weight for years so do not tell me that you will get fat. Less carbs is fine, as long as your getting some. Pootein in lean meats.
this video and thinspo diet is soooo soooo accurate, healthy and true!! i mean, my biology teacher explained this stuff last year. it's totally safe and super healthy.
i eat an apple and drink a 16 oz water in the morning and slimfast for lunch and a salad for dinner with ham and egg and ranch dressing ive lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks
