Nice to see this footage, so clear and well focused I could actually imagine sensing the texture of the fur on both Otto and Egon from previous experience with other cats. :-D Another good thing about this video is that it reminded me of both what I miss from not having pets in my house and also how much time and care pets need. I have long ago decided on not having pets because I move too much and also work or travel too much to have pets. I love to meet other people's pets, though :-)

I need to use a harness and leash with my cat, because we just have a big yard with no fence. There's a soybean/corn/whatever is in season field to the south, some woodland to the west and north, and a road to the east. I'd hate it if she ran off or got hurt doing something. It's great that you have that fenced in area that your cats can wander safely in. *is jealous* ^.^

That's so nice you let them outside now! Cats i think are happiest outside. Fortunately i live in a low traffic area and my cats stay outside all night.(they won't come inside) One of them is 16, and nothing unfortunate has ever happened to her! Every time i go outside with my 2 cats, they follow me wherever i go. Usually to the park. You should try going for a short walk with them, I'm sure they would follow you! yay!

ok i have the best idea for you!!! since you have a nice sized yard, you should build and outdoor cattery!!!! they sell them ready made somewhere online, but you could easily build one with some wood, chicken wire, etc. and this way they can go out for a while, safely away from hawks/coyotes etc. (obviously not when youre not around but still, you wouldnt have to watch them so closely!!!!!!)

Yes, that's a good idea. A nice compromise. Check out Richard Norton's Youtube videos. He built a nice outdoor "cage" for his Bengal cats. I think cats should get outside regularly. It's good for their physical and emotional health.

the way you can get rid of the wasp nests is put a strong alcholic drink/beverage in a spray bottle spray the nest and the wasps then remove the nest once all the wasps are dead

What my family has found is good for getting rid of wasps is baseball euipment. In 87', when my dad was the coach of the little league team, we had all of the equipment. We spent a sunday throwing balls, bats, mitts, bases, catcher's masks, and umpire pads at the nests. It worked!

Your cats are adorable! A fun thing to play with outside with them in the sun. Ball up some tin foil and wrap it in clear tape so they cant get cut. Toss and watch the fun.

get some WD-40 and spray the wasps with it, it will take care of them, and be sure to spray the eggs, then knock down the nest and stomp on it, be sure to do this after the sun goes down, just to be sure you don't get stung

No, they aren't quite the size of my finger. They are fairly small. Maybe only 1 inch long maximum.

Also, Otto did throw up later, but Egon did not. Of course, Otto ate a ton of grass. Egon just had a nibble.

oh my house had a terrible infestation of wasp nest all around our roof. im talking like around 15 or 16, and we had to take them down one by one atleast 2 hours apart because there were very angry wasp flying everywhere, it was madness! madness i say!
