i think that mg wing is kit of the year to. i also recently got it not even a month a ago and out of the 3 mg from 2010 i own its my fav. i dont have the real grade yet but i will get it

US isn't the only country that started with Wing series, several fanbase in the asian regions started with Wing too :D

Back to topic, the kit of the year for me would definitely be RG 1/144 Zaku II followed closely by HG 1/144 Sinanju. Both kits blew me off with the level of detail and several other similar features seen in the MG or even the HG counterparts.

But the surprise of the year definitely goes to MG Qan(T), thats a real surprise for everyone imo...

yah!! i agree.. overall rg rx-78-2 was great kit for 2010 although there was some problems like the manipulators but overall i love it and i didn't regret buying it... and maybe i'll be buying the wing gundam master grade or exia or aile strike or mk II for my 1st mg because they are my favorite gundams..

@vegeta8259 I like the real RG RX78 2, but perhaps because it's the 1st in the series, there were some parts that were really weak.. For instance, sure it's super pose able, but it can't stand w/o the use of blu tac cos it'll just topple over. The hyper bazooka is really loose on the backskirt, the 4 gold stickers on each elbow joints just wanna dislodge each time I bend the arms, and some of the stickers dun stick properly and we probably gotta get the water slide. There wasn't enough competition this year for a great MG...

But did you have a kit disappoint you??? Like for me MG Figurerise Son Goku was brilliant last year but Bandai follow up with Kamen Rider W which was very weak in comparison. While this years surprises were Kotobukiya Rockman and the Bear Acguy two fun little kits.

I'd have to disagree with you mainly because I don't like Gundam Wing, I just can't get into it.I like Gundam from 79 through the 80s and Victory but then I just didn't the series that came out in the 90s then liked SEED in 2003. I'd have to go with The O myself. ah well, thats my two cents

Yeah the PG Strike Freedom does look a whole lot better than 00 raiser. But I think the main complaint from the kit will be the fact mold of the dull gold/yellow and possibly the balance thought the stand should fix that. Compared to the 00 Raiser's balance it should be better without a doubt.

And yeah for me Gundam Wing was what got me loving gundam, but after years of no gundam besides G Gundam, that I am not a fan of, the Gundam 00 is what got be specifically into GUNPLA.

I have to completely Agree whith you im a huge gundam wing fan and i first saw it when i was 4 and had tons of msia and now have 4 kits RG being my best one ive had more but they have vanished lol animal are a pain sometimes anyway glad to see your sounding better
