The Honopu Valley is so lush and incredible, it is almost prehistoric. That is probably why the remake of King Kong was shot here. Truly an amazing sight. Kauai is, for me, the most incredible place, ethereal and gorgeous. I love to go as often as possible, and there are always great places to rent . Beats staying at a hotel. Just saw this in person a week ago from a boat view. The valley was wrapped in a light mist. Hauntingly beautiful. My jaw actually dropped.
