That was awesome! Me and my daughter were cheering him on, but when he picked up Iceland, I was thinking "There's no way is he gonna know how to pronounce "Reykjavik', he knows it, but can he SAY it?" And he totally nailed it! Good job Dad!
Does he speak any foreign languages? Any other subjects? Or has he just been indoctrinated in the one subject? All we see is robotic reactions.. I am always suspicious when I see something like this. Some kids (often Asian) are fantastic at playing instruments... then look behind the scenes as to how they got to be like that, and it's not nice. Let's hope this is something really genuine...
well i wish he wont be like me someday! in philippine history i memorized "almost" all the topics on my sister's 4th grade history book and that's when i was 4-5 but when i was in 4th grade i can't even answer my history test!!! huhuhu
Il tell you what. You are a damn fine parent. I can only dream of my mom thinking I was smart. Please encourage your son to keep up his amazing work. It helps more then you can comprehend. He is brilliant.
Thanks for the kind words. He is currently doing double digit addition in his head for example 22+34 or 17+62, he is learning how to play piano, he is reading on a 2nd grade level. He amazes us everyday, I'm running out of stuff to teach him. But thank you again for the comments, much appreciated. By the way how did you find his clip, just curious how people are seeing it. Check out his other clips that i posted under msilva31, there is some pretty cools stuff
Thank you and yes he does know the capital of Lithuania. It happens to be oneof his favorites. He knows all of Europe including the tough ones like Moldova, Bosnia & Herzegovnia, luxembourg etc. Aiden has since moved on and doesn't seem interested in countries anymore. He has been doing math, reading on a second grade level and telling time by reading a clock. He is loves music and is learning to play the piano along with playing golf and baseball.
your child is really amazing....I am a teacher and honestly I've seen children between the ages of 9-18 who do not know all the capitals that your child does.....I wish you all the best...:)
well....one of my colleagues from school told me that he saw a little child who knew all the countries and capitals of the world....so I have typed "genius children"....byeee
Your kid is amazing... I'll teach y kid thigs like this... It's good for their brains to develope faster and learn more things when they grow up easier than others. :)
You're welcome, I found the clip by search... I typed "Genius kids" and it was one of the most amazing... There is a kid playing pool, a kid that spells, and yours... which there is a little girl that does the same thing in another video... :)
Thanks for the compliment. He started at the age of 18 months and learned the states and capitals in 2 weeks and each continent took about 2 weeks as well. He pretty much knew everything y age 2. He has now moved on to cars where he can name any make and model of any car on the road today.
I'm not trying to be a hater really, i do think kid is really intelligent I'm proud of him and his parents, butttttt, the kid is not 2 years, he is older, so stop exaggerating!
He is abolutely 2 years old. I have nothing to gain by lying. You can choose not to believe, that is OK but the bottomline is its pretty entertaining.
check out the clip from regis and kelly, there is tape over the names of the countries and he gets them correct everytime. You can place the country backwards with only the cardboard showing and he knows everytime
Thank you very much, I'm gonna try to post the actual video of the show which I have on dvd, but I have no clue on how to do it. Any ideas? Thank you very much for the kind words and yes we are extremely proud of him. I was extremly nervous for him on the show, which I'm sure you could tell, but we thought it came out very good.
He was clearly kidding. He didn't call his son a "demon-child". He was referencing the sound of his voice. Look at your response - you sound like a good Dad. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?
Semantics. Clearly the boy couldn't understand the joke but that doesn't make it ok on two levels, one is pretension, pretending to be speaking to the boy when not, and two, a reference to anti-Christ? I do kiss my mother with this mouth and I will kiss my son also and tell him jokes he can understand, especially ones that don't call him a demon.
look up demon-child on encarta dictionaries or else, dude! demon-child means "expert: somebody who is very skilled at something (informal)" .... where the heck are you from!
Hi there! I can't believe I've seen another kid do this...my son is 2 and a half and knows all these countries and capitals since he was 2 as well!! We have all the Geo Puzzles and he is obsessed with countries! I've never seen another kid do this and I'm delighted to see this on You Tube!! It's great that you have tapped into his interests and well done! I'd love them to meet!!! We live in Ireland though!I think it's some kind of photographic memory!
Thank you very much for your kind words. Its truly an amazing talent and we are very proud of him. The GEO Puzzles are a great tool. We've always wanted to come to Ireland, now we have a reason to go. If we ever make it out there I send you an email and vice versa, if you ever make it out to the states particularly NYC, drop me an email. If you found this clip entertaining, check out the others i posted, just search msliva31, and please let me know what you think. Thanks again

The kid is 2 years old, and you don't give the credit if he could "read" name of the country on it??
Being able to read at the age of 2 would be pretty damn amazing!
