Yes, I disconnected the auto pilot, but the entire approach is hand flown. The auto pilot is off, but the flight director is still on giving guidance.
Are you sure this was hand flown? The FMA states CMD indicating the AP was on. Yet this wasnt a full autoland as there were no "Rollout" or "Flare" FMAs or "LAND2/3" on the Autoland indicator. Were you landing using 1 autopilot? Either way you definately had at least one autopilot engaged. Nice video though. Like the truck too!
Yes, it was hand flown. Can't you tell how sloppy it was? I will try to make a video of me doing in a real 767 and post that. Kinda hard to do, but I will try.
I never noticed the truck, man! lol. I'm like, what truck is he talking about. I never noticed it. lol. Guess I was to busy trying to keep it on the taxi-way center line.
How close is flight simulator to real life flying

I disconnected the auto throttles at 27 seconds. On the 767, you get a red light and warning when the auto pilot is disconnected.

Wh do u mean hand flying and ILS they are the oppisite things ILS is autopilot landing and hand flown is manually land
Flyglobespan93 2 years ago
You can "Hand Fly" ILS, sort of, by following the flight director, or, following ILS needles if they existed on the plane.

ILS has nothing to do with autopilot. i fly a 1980 cessna172 with no autopilot and we still do ILS's
