I've done multiple installs of Vista, and if you install it from scratch (not upgrading), it takes 10-20 minutes.

Well it only takes a little while if you have a very good PC; slower computers or laptops would take longer.

The computers I installed this OS on were all shop machines, with about 1 GB of RAM and an old AMD proc, which isn't quite the best.
It's no wonder it took so long.
