Here is how you do it in Linux Ubuntu

Open your Terminal and type

sudo apt-get install gimp-gap

click enter type your password click enter ... Done

hey, what is that script-fu option you have there, my gimp doesn't have it. I downloaded the gap package from you link, it seems to be working i think, i haven't tried all its options yet so i don't now if it works ok, anyway thanks.

gimp is turning out to be a very good program, i thought i needed photoshop, but now i don't care about that overrated and expensive program. Go free Gimp.

You can get photoshop for free. Just ned the right link. But yeah Gimp is basically Photoshop with a MSpaint-like Interface.

right click the link and (in firefox) select "Save link as" then open it up. i had problems to when i just clicked the link but when i right clicked and saved the link rather than downloading it, it worked purfectly! Enjoy gap!!! :)
