Frankly, I'm GLAD there wasn't just "one" Van Halen. It would have been great if there were 7,8, or 9 Van Halens. Eddie, Alex & Mark had soooooo much music in them than one band line-up could hold. Every iteration was just MORE GREAT ROCK FOR THE FANS.

So quit yer whinin' and let the music take you away.

Sammy rocked Van Halen - the most success they ever had!! They are my favorite band of all time!! I have to say that I miss VH with Sammy - a lot!! I enjoyed the early Van Halen and loved it even more with Sammy. The LIVE shows were what a rock concert is all about!! I refused to see them with Gary (what a joke!!) and will not see or buy anything from them now with Dave (the clown).

dave lee roth has a better voice, but the myth that sammy hagar was worse has gone to shit, dave never had much of an impact live, actually he sucks live, it looks as if he's never really happy on stage no matter how hard he wants to, as for samy hagar man he really having the time of his life, and not to shabby guitarist too, now that 20+ years have gone by and dave came back as everybody always wanted to ... well it pains me to sse that it's not that great, he seems depressed lol
