I mean do you people not see the cruelty toward the bull and I understand about the fellow bull fighters trying to protect there dead friend but still put yourself in the hooves of the bull would you want someone stabbing you with spears and making a fool out of you. I don't think so

Bullfight in portugal is diferent from Spain or south america. these guys are "furcados", they have balls. they just try to stop with the body the bull in his run. Belive I do not agree with killing bull in the arena !!! anyway in portugal it's forbiden to do it in the arena.

Don't you get it? It's not just about the killing - that's a kindness to these animals. To subject them to having great knives stuck into their withers and frightened among a crowd of humans is the real cruelty. It's stupid and cruel. There's nothing noble about it and it may be 'traditional' but so were other barbaric practices in the worls that are now banned in civilised countries.

@SuperPingvinen this is not a sport. it is a portuguese tradition since 1499... when portuguese man as to capture the bull with is hands to put it into the ships that has discovery the world (they could not kill the animal or hurt him or the bull was not going to survive the trip - Portugal to India was more than 7 months trip)
