  • the 208d is way better, higher torque, more horsepower and much quicker !. Just a better engine. only the 209 is fucked.

  • The OM616 is legendary for its durability, the reason was it was underpowered yet overengineered pice of engineering built to haul and last.

  • Slow to these vehicles makes these engines durable!

    We had a caravan MB 309D with a replacement engine with ONLY 45000 KM performance!

  • yes, I understand you. I have a 307d myself. I think you are right regarding durability, there are plenty of MB 240D cars around with 300,000 miles on them
