We are not digging dumps that is a brick lined outhouse well. They are far safer to dig then large ash dumps.

your a brave guy!!! i used to dig for bottles years ago and would never dig like that. we had a few near misses and i even had to be dug out as i was burried. wouldnt recommend you did it that way
