Wait...If he took back the Horde, they would both die due to the legends rule. Then, since the target is gone, The cryptic command would be countered?
thats correct that is hard to play with elementals but i have and black/red elemental deck with come avatars and i if i would get lucky with the cards i could easly win...i dont have that much cash as you guys to buy that strong cards like
Cruel Ultimatum that isn't very cheap so when i'd have more money that could happen soon if i get my big shoolarship i will improve my deck to be an 100% winner ...and i go right now to make an vid of my deck to show it to u
I watched over the three videos and where I made the game costing mistake was not casting the horde of notions after stan tapped out for burial. The game woul have been much different with me having access to lark even if he deals with horde. I could attribute it to inexperience with the deck but it was moreso I was playing with the fear. As Bucher has said in his articles about Elementals, it is a hard deck to play right.
Not that it matters, but couldn't the Elementals deck have countered the Cryptic Command at the end by activating the Horde of Notions in play to cast the Horde of Notions in the graveyard? They'd both be destroyed via Legendary Rule and deprive Cryptic Command of its only target.
Brilliant; however, the flaw in your logic is that you are losing Horde of Notions and not drawing 2 cards in your example, while wiping your own board.
That proxied smokebraider was kinda funny. Nice job guys, I hope you keep this up with other matchups. My request would be Doran versus Kithkin :) (post M10 obv).

it wud mean that his horde was dead rather than in his hand nd he wud still hav everything tapped, so watever he did he was screwed
MJtheKandyman 2 years ago
yes, but what does that accomplish? he doesnt have a target to bounce but instead u lose a horde in your hand now

...it wasn't a WINNING strategy. More of a moral victory. lol

In that case the answer is yes and something I can certainly get behind lol
