@rashadet it's not only in China, but everywhere you go. Sales is good, but Italians needs to do something about their supply chain. It's the worst of any other country.
@FAzeranakin lol if he's going to fix that lambo, it will take another 2 years for those parts to arrive from italy. Trust me i know... Italians are really slacking on their customers, most of my parts i had to wait 6 months for it to arrive. While german automotive parts were there within 2 weeks.
Italians have good design, but they are far from customer friendly. It's ignorance.
@209275chu Lamborghini is now owned by a German brand (Volkswagen). Chrysler failed under German leadership (Daimler-Benz) and is recovering under Italian one (FIAT).
@poddolo Not really, most of the Italian car parts is sourced out to Italy. That is the reason why german and italians can't work together. German are strict and Italians are doing many things at the same time and won't get the job done, no offense but its an example.
@209275chu I'm sorry but I call this an excuse. The brand is owned by a German company who has the responsibility on that. Nobody has asked Volkswagen to outsource to some bad car parts dealer, they have all the power to do the bad and the good with Lamborghini. If Fiat bought Volkswagen and it was going bad because of some German dealer, people there would as always blame the "pizza eaters". And I'm quite tired of this. Nobody is perfect, Germans too.
@209275chu Italians are irresponsible A-Holes. My Ducati 1198 S needed some parts, the Dubai dealer ordered it for me in July 2011, they shipped the wrong part, but the dealer promised to re-place it ASAP, placed order again, those SOB B#$%####ds took summer vacation all together from Aug 1st till 31 st ! Today is 27th Aug., The head of spares division from the factory texted Dubai dealer they will ship it after 1st Sept 2011 ! such a bunch of losers !
I am wondering why the customer didn't use a Heavy Construction Equipment and smash that car all together in one shot. This is one good lesson for irresponsible Manufacturers and their equally irresponsible Representatives. This proves Only A-Holes can work together.... LOL
Um bando de maneh mesmo! Nem estao afim de quebrar! Batendo igual barbie! O carro provavelmente era falso, fabricado na china por isso nao funcionava hauihuiahuhuoahuoa!!!!
So this is what you slant eyed monkeys did with the relief money we gave you for a relief fund so that you could rebuild your homes and feed the poor and homeless that were astray by the tsunami but NO you tear up another country's best exports like its a cookie and there is a piece of paper in the middle of it. God Hates You!!!
Google * The Other Side to the Lamborghini Story * to find the Wall Street Journal article. The Gallardo wasn't new, imported from Japan, 8 years old, valued at $80,000. The Lambo owner had a different business dispute with the owner of the Lamborghini dealership, and used this PR event to smear the dealership owner.
According to the Daily Mail website, the manager had taken the car to the dealership to fix an engine problem. However, the problem was not solved and the car still returned with a problem in the bodywork.
Disgusted with the poor service received, the owner tried to contact some responsible for the company and even contacted the sales manager of the brand, but nothing was resolved.
And that was when he decided to make this bizarre protest.
ITALIAN CARS ARE NICE AND VERY BEAUTIFUL !!! I DON'T UNDERSTAND SOME RICH PEOPLE, . THE MORE MONEY THEY HAVE THE MORE STUPID ACTIONS THEY DO :(((((( SHAME YOU !!!
A Chinese businessman has hired a group of men to smash his car "Lamborghini", which he bought in October, worth U.S. $ 284 000 in front of a crowd of spectators, after the company failed to fix the bug
stupid china people...plz stop doing stupid things when u guys start getting rich..coz it's doesn't mean anything.....well..they dunno shitz....they only know how to spend money..but no taste at all
either those guys are wimps or that lambo is pretty tuff... Being rich enough to unleash his frustrations with the dealer/mechanics in such a way is probably gratifying to some degree, but it seems very similar to kicking the dog to vent frustration on the boss - it's not the dog's fault and that's just wrong.... whatever
reminds me of those samsonite luggage commercials from the 80s where they let a gorilla try to destroy them
the reason is his car is so many problem he's try to sent company couldn't fix it no more lamborghini. even top brand got so many problem. it's just the name they take so much money shit
WSJ.com: Chinese Millionaire Smashes His Lamborghini
The irate owner tried unsuccessfully to get the problem fixed, to no avail. He escalates his case all the way up to Lamborghini CEO Stephen Winkelmann, but apparently the dispute wasn’t resolved.
So on March 15, World Consumer Rights Day, the Lambo owner hired a team of guys with sledgehammers to destroy the car in public. You can see the video here.
The car seems pretty tough, the workers try too hard to smash it, and all that happens is a few dent and holes... LOL! I am sure the car is still very drivable (if only it didn't have the not starting problem in the first place....) after all that smashing, only the body work is appeared to be damaged.
@azrebels Have you ever heard of ignoratio elenchi or red herrings? Try looking it up. When you return, spare me the childish ad hominem attacks and get back to the subject matter.
@azrebels I asked that question yet you failed to realize its true intentions; mere coquetry. You chose to disregard the "smiley face" at it's conclusion signifying nothing more than a friendly disposition. Your answer to this friendly disposition? A snide and caustic remark/assumption.
In any case, if declaring yourself the so-called "WINNER" of this little, verbal, jousting match you started helps you sleep at night then claim your delusive trophy of grandeur and be at peace with yourself.
Fucking idiot. What a prick. Suck an excessive waste of money. China still has a huge peasant populus who would benefit from the sale of this thing, however useless this particular example might be.
Regardless of the method of demolition the owner of the lambo was just making a point. China is an emerging market for luxury goods and good customer support should follow their products like lambos should have.
some freaking girly hands those china girls have there! bloody useless with the hammer.. i would understand the owners frustration after spending all that money on a car that doesnt work.. he is a business man... im sure he can upgrade..
@Devastationable There is an article online about it. The engine was broken and the guy sent it in several times and it came back worse so he had them distroy it instead of buy a new engine. I dont get the logic either but still would be one hell of a time to take a hammer to a car like that
Another problem is there aren't "authorized" dealers like you'd see in USA/Europe where there are techs who went to an automotive school or became one based off experience who then was trained by the manufacture at their facilities with tools such as Mercedes STAR Scanner, access to reflashes DTB, recall, parts, etc.. These are just like a "one-stop" third party shops with lolrofl mechanics =\ There are few known places to repair your exotic but the wait time is months and prices are hefty.
Also in addition to that there are a TON of exotics in the streets of China. HOWEVER, not many models if any are sold there. "Dealers" are mostly third party and legit/creditable deals are rare without being connected. Makes such as RangeRover, Benz (im talking S class Sl SLS etc..), Bently, Lambo, Ferrari, Porsche, and on.. are about 4x the price in US dollars new (not first owner just new model) and 2x-3x the price USED (older model). So yes in short these people have money, real money.
Thumb so people understand the story: "All of this because a dealership failed to fix a problem…
Han Nan from China brought his Gallardo to the dealer to repair an engine malfunction and when he got the car back, not only did they not fix the problem, they ADDED body and chassis damage!
So on World Consumer Rights Day, in protest and personal frustration, he decided to allow a wrecking crew armed with sledgehammers to total the Gallardo in the streets of China.."
If you spend that much money on a car, you deserve you have it fixed properly anytime you take it in, so fuck the garage that didn't fix this car. And if you spend that much money on a car, I'm guessing you could toss one to the Chinese hammer men in your community without much concern over the expenses.
btw he bought it for 500.000 euros and engine didnt work. and stupid people in service didnt know how to fix it. instead they even destroyed Bumper and Chassis.
So he pissed of and payed those people to destroy the whole car.
It would be better to sell this car and buy some stuff for poor kids.

Perhaps the Chinese are trying to teach the USA a lesson here--destroy all Chinese products of inferior quality in the same fashion.
