  • @spelunkerd One of the benefits of buying an old auto garage. I have three above ground lifts and two in ground lifts. The in ground lifts have 5 foot by 10 foot by 1 and 1/4 inch steel plates on them. Great size work benches that go from the ground to six feet high.

  • Sometimes to change the shape of metal you have to stretch or shrink it. The English Wheel lets you do that.

  • Hey Kevin, the English Wheel was used to make body Armour during the middle ages and the English stole the idea from the Bulgarians.

  • @mrrberger wrong any how in the middle ages could they have machined the anvils concentric to .001 secondly armour was hot and cold hammer formed wought iron.
