@FeebyYoyo Simple. It's not exactly science. Insert a small toy DC motor and a couple watch batteries. That's why it sounds like shit and has no torque. Looks like they did a decent job balancing it, tho. Props for that, I guess.

@FeebyYoyo No. It's just a bad design with not much power, so it stops often. I design motion control circuits for a living. It's quite easy to motorize a yoyo, but what's the point if you can't stop it on command or change spin direction?
