Can't I watch a video about the new Thomas without seeing people argue over it?

Okay, some of you like it, and some of you don't. But you all need to respect people's opinions and not argue over them. So what if someone likes the new Thomas if you don't. So what if someone hates it if you like it? I personally don't like some the changes made, but I respect the opinions who like them. But I can't stand it when people argue and insult each other over HIT when it's a matter of opinion.

Honestly some of you Hit Haters really need to Shut The Hell Up. We all know the new episodes and things are not as good as the originals but all of you keep blaming Hit for it when infact it was the parent action groups that made them change the direction of the show. Nothing wrong with liking Thomas whatever age you may be but I find it pathetic that teenagers and adults are ranting on forums and videos about a show marketed for young children; that's just sad...... It's been this way since 2004 get over it..... I don't really like the new episodes but at least people like me have more sense and accept the fact the show is aimed at younger children and if they like it; the show is successful no matter what...

@Damocles178 You have a fair point and I know this is for younger children but it's kind of easy to argue against. Thomas was really for everyone, not just kids and the stories were all from the Railway Series whilst here they have nothing to do with the original Thomas stories and adding silly new morals and characters and horrible art development, I just think it's extremely disrespectful to Rev Awdry.

I grew up with the Thomas in the 60s, with the fabulous Ringo Starr.

@Ihavealife100 No they didn't run out of stories. There are plenty of RWS books to adapt. The only reason they stopped is because in Season 5 The original Thomas crew decided to not adapt anymore from the RWS since Rev W Awdry passed away. Britt Allcroft started a great show but she was also the one to doom it. Then when Hit came in; P.A.G's forced them to make the stories like this; So not it's not Hit's fault.

It's not really a matter of limitations in writing; it's the parent action groups that make them focus on Morales. Season 13 in particular had a lot of annoying repetitive scenes. Despite season 5, season 6 and 7 not having stories from the RWS the stories were still great but the P.A.G's became more bitchy and ultimately this led to season 8 changing the show forever.... Sadly Hit never had a chance to do anything as they need to appeal to P.A.G's too.

OMG Guys what the hell? Why do you always blame hit? The P.A.G's (Parent Actions Groups) forced them to make the show like this. It's sadder still when you throw in the fact a lot of you are over 10 years old; it's true that Thomas has appealed to many generations but why oh why do you insist on watching an episode or feature length that was clearly made for younger children if all you're gonna do is complain? It's obvious Thomas is no longer aimed at us in general.

Don't get me wrong the new stuff has nothing on the classics but a lot of you haven't a clue what it's like to run a studio and fail to see there's more to a studio than simply making something; they have to appeal to a broad-range of people including the whiny P.A.G's. Obviously it's doing it's job for who it's aimed at since episodes are still being made. Think what you like but I just find it a bit silly to swear over this video.

I'm not really a fan of the new episodes but we should consider what' HIT has to deal with and they're doing the best they can. Though mind you I am quite disgusted the children don't get a say in the matter of what they wanna see since the P.A.G's get the final say. Being a kid in the 80's or 90's was where it was at.

I'm sorry but Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends has gone downhill very fast the last couple of years. "When I were a lad" moment coming, the stories where believable, as they were based on the original book series which were based on real events. But now they seem to make up any of rubbish, and why have so many new characters who seem to appear in one or perhaps two episodes and are never mentioned again...scrapped?
