  • that little part at 0:30 and at 0:37 is very catchy...

  • i didnt know there were 7 different spocks on tenors...

  • Filthy

  • pretty sick

  • what program is this?

  • @Cpalen9809 sibelius with virtual drumline to get the battery sounds, sibelius doesnt manually some with those sounds

  • why are there sharps and flats written in

  • Fail troll JessOnTheRun fails on every video. When will you learn?

  • You probably can't even play it Jess lol

  • lame... amateurish... nothing creatie nor original.... no legit line would play this shit.

  • @JessOnTheRun Actually a LEGIT line would be able to play this. A lot of the good College drum lines like could play this and a lot of the DCI drum lines could place this. You just have to have a solid bass line that knows how to count. NONE of the drum lines like the crap you see in the Drum Line movie could play this. This is definitely possible to play and it has a pretty good groove to it.

Also if you say it has nothing original then you are saying someone has played this stuff before.

  • @drmnalthtime you are being way too presumptuous in reading my remark... NO DCI CALIBER LINE OR ANY TALENTED LINE WOULD PLAY THIS CRAP... its not the amateurish level... any high school kid could play it... its the poor writing...

  • To hell with the haters! Your music is legit

  • mp3 file?

  • i love all those 5-let to 6-let to triplet transitions... it all flows makes it possible to march to it! hence being a cadence!

  • what are those tenor notes that are way above and below the staff?

  • @PunkRockDrummer44 Its a way on Virtual Drumline to create different sounds, because there are to many patches to fit on the staff.

  • goodness gracious this is tight as shit!

    Subscribing...

  • i think i can do it. lol

  • can i get the music?

  • It was pretty cool in the beginning. It got boring toward the middle though.

  • if you ever become a drumline instructor i would love to be apart of your drumline no kiddin at all

  • ORGASMICAl!!

  • 2 Questions:

    How much does Sibelius cost?

Does Virtual Drumline come with or cost anything to get?

  • @SMstikx7 sibelius cost anywere from 200-600 depending on wich version you get, then virtual drumline is an extra 200. u dont need it to make drumline cadences, but the sounds without it are preatty pethetic

  • I'm sorry to tell you but I heard this way before 2008. I don;t know who it is, but it's not you.

  • hey i hope you can help me with this but i use sibelius and the tenor drums and the bass drums are not pitched correctly.... do you know how i could fix this?

  • plz check out my vids

  • nice man im very impressed! how and wer did you get this software? i know its not cheap but ive been lookin garound for forever and everything is so expensive so im tryin gto see if somebody can burn me a copy or i can borrow it and download it to my comp. what software do you have?

  • Anyone where to get VDL torrents?

  • how can i get this? It gotta nice groove

  • phat cadence man!

  • This is soooooooooooo knockin'!!!!

  • what is that program called???????

  • 0:32 - 0:36 Orgasmic

  • awsum!!

  • whats the softwear and where can i get it

  • This is awesome! Great job. famguy619 and apercussionist91 don't worry I am always writing stuff or maing up stuff for my drumline lol. I think it's a natural habit for some percussionists.

  • freakin sick.

  • Seriously? I write music in my Calc 1 class too, ha. Nice to know I'm not the only obsessive drummer out there.

  • i write in P.E...with chalk. teachers are like "wtf is this kid doing?" so they dont stop me >:D

  • if you wouldnt mind sending some sheet music my way, id love to get my drumline to play this. this is a sick cadence. if you wouldnt mind, send me a message. id love to get this

  • why do ur drums sound good and the basses and tenors make different tones for diff drums and my sibelius 6 doesnt

  • he has virtual drumline. incredible program for percussion sounds.

  • how r u able 2 put this stuff on youtube?

  • Nice music dude. I'd have a blast playing this on a line

  • Are you able to notate drum music with vdl or do you also have to buy sibelius 6

  • no... you have to get sibelius or finale... vdl is only sound plug-ins for those programs

  • @tinhlagi2k do i have to buy the pricy pro versions of sibelius or finale. Or could i use a student version of them.

  • you can get the student version it wouldnt matter

  • So, anyway...

To gtsmart821, this is a cool Cadence dude. Nice work!

Virtual Drumline 2 as part of Sibelius? Or is it a program of its own?

  • eh.... nothing that incredible... average at best.

  • Your nothing that incredible!

  • grow up and grow one

  • I'm probably older than you fucktard! And at least I don't go around thinking I'm so badass and judging other people's music. Loose the attitude or lose the balls, because you don't deserve them!

  • sorry kid, you arent older than me... i can tell that judging by the vids you view... you have a lonely, insecure teen's taste in vids. Not to mention your rather poor vocabulary, communication skills and hyper-emotional drama queen tantrum... very revealing. You are the one who popped attitude kiddo... I mearly just put you in your place. BTW its not spelled "loose" its spelled "lose"... now suck those balls I supposively dont deserve n00b.

  • Wow! Bravo! That was a spectacular description of yourself! Well done! I especially liked how you typed all that shit and spent all that time for just for some kid you think you're older than!

  • you're watching the same vid...

  • So basically you need to learn to type, grow up, come up with better insults than "n00b" and "kid." Because what are you REALLY proving? Have a nice day. Idiot.

  • I personally do not like it when people bash others peoples works so i half agree with you but you have to room to speak when you say that he has a lack of vocabulary, because you spelled "supposedly" wrong which also lets me know that you say the word wrong in everyday life it is spelled and pronounced with a D not a V lmao

  • stalker

  • if we are talking about spelling, mearly-no merely*-yes

  • and if we're talking punctuation, it's* not its, and the proper word in your last sentence would be supposedly, i am almost one hundred percent sure that supposively does not exist in the english language, correct me if i am wrong.

  • I agree. Supposively is certainly not a word.

  • That is from the software

    "finale"

google it create ur own music

  • That was sweet

  • wow i want my school's drumline to play this

  • Holy hell, I played snare for my school, I want this piece, bad.

  • that was sick!

  • did you edit in all the notes into the program or did you have a drum connected into your computer via midi?

  • hmmm, no, i dont thnk so, nice try

  • dude, can i have the music for this?

  • pretty sweet bro.

  • This is awesome!

  • where could i get some free drumline writing music software?

  • no such thing holmes

  • Torrents

  • :O... can i have the music to this??

  • 0:41 wouldve been a nice cadence

  • 0:49 crescendo-decrescendo?

  • Parts dominate by triplets and sixtoplets is amazing

  • this is dope!! I'm feelin this

  • bass lick at 1:05 sssweeeett

  • is there any way to get VDL for free? I really don't want to pay for sound

  • trust me- it's worth it. and if you get it for free you most likely won't have all the sounds, or all of the software needed to run. It's really hard to rip it off and put onto other disks. It's got all that copyrighted crap. But I got my copy of VDL 2.5. and you'll be blown away!!

  • Oh i know it is. Unfortunately i can't afford VDL right now. My school has Sibelius 5 with VDL and it sounds amazing. Its very realistic, almost human

  • probably because the latest vdl IS human ;)

Or I guess it would be about as human as any high-def cd of a rock band. It's SCV baby!

    Great product, and nice vid!

  • can i use this for my marching band as a warm up? chattahoochee 95.5% percussion score in nationals

  • yeah, im sure... considering drum line scores are out of 20, if you're talking about ussba, that is

  • it was ussba dude

  • i love the random hertas.

  • what type of notation software do you use?

  • Virtual drumline, i believe

  • VDL isn't a notation software, it plays back what you've written on finale or sibelius

  • Omfg i love this!! This is seriously good work my friend. I've watched it 10 times now??? ^.^

  • you could get finale and it already has drumline sounds. there's torrents for that too, if you're a lawbreaker

  • sweet groove dude

  • sorry but i had 2 steal 0:30-0:34 loll that groove just feels good lol

  • hey, what program do you use with virtual drumline? Sibelius?

  • yea its sibelius

  • wat program is this and is it free

  • its called sibelius. And it costs alot of money. but u could probably find a torrent 4 it

  • I got Sibelius 5 for free. I'm looking for VDL because the vst plugin i bought is great for everything except marching percussion

  • Really cool, tempo just varies a little TOO much maybe.

  • Dude... that center groove section is so effin bad! I was nodding my head the whole time. I dunno if you could march it though, and thats coming from wome that has marched corp.

  • whats with the quad notes up like 2 octaves?

  • Looks like you don't have the drum map set up correctly since I see notes all over the staves. Sweet beats though man I liked it.

  • A little busy, if you ask me. Not to sound negative, but maybe if you focused more on some louder hits and less of the fast moving stuff it would sound a little better.

  • I think it sounds really cool--its just that a lot of the smaller stuff doesn't come through; if I couldn't see it, I wouldn't hear it. Then again, a lot of good cadences are more complex than they actually sound--untrained ears miss a lot of hard work. Perhaps some simpler beat elements in conjunction with the fast runs--the cadence should be easy to move to.

  • can you email me a recording of this? its sick!!!!

  • I LIKE IT

  • do you have to buy sibelius 3.1.3

  • Yes, unfortunately, although you may find some free Finale software and maybe some Sibelius also. They will be limited trials though.

  • but could fine the keys for them on a web

  • TORRENTS!

  • I like the ending of this a lot. Sounds really good, not to technical and still keeps the groove going as a cadence should.

    Nice Work

  • Are you using Finale with Virtual Drumline? and if so, What version?

  • I am using Virtual Drumline 2 and Sibelius 3.1.3

  • what do you download to do this?

  • NP man! You obviously have a real skill for writing! Keep it up! You'll be top drum corps around the world! If you aren't already ;)

  • I like the groove in measures 15 and 19.

  • the ending is lame but still awesome cadence

  • Really great work. Did you HAND write this in calc? I've only managed to write short grooves, and that's a lot of work. Freakin awesome.

  • Holy jesus.

    you're amazing.

    :)

  • Bro this cadence is raw as I don't know what. You got skill man. I'm loving that groove part with those sixtuplets.

  • Aha sweet where did you get drumline sounds though for it

  • If i gave you my email, would you send me a copy of this software you used?

  • Was that done on sibelius?

  • hey this cadence is pretty cool ;]

  • I gotta see if I can get this program, it looks great and I'm starting to write features...I hope to be a drum captain for my school in three years.

  • it switches from duple to triple too much

  • Oh my god! that was awesome!

  • That was sick! Awesome job!

  • Thanks man, I am about to start writing some new stuff and posting it so check it out :)

  • hey anyone know how to get the virtual drumline for free??? if you do, message me back plz!!

  • hey can I get the music for this?

  • how did you get virtual drumline 2?

  • search Tapspace (it wont let me put the website), they have VDL2 :)

  • is this software free?

  • No it will cost you a couple hundred, and also you will need to get a notation software (Sibelius, Finale, ect...)

  • i have sibelius...

  • dude badass what software did you use?

  • thanks bro, its sibelius and virtual drumline 2

  • you have skill, no lie

  • thanks i appriciate it :)

    enjoy!

  • damn son. amazing cadence.

  • any chance of getting the score from you? sounds great! it'd make a really great ram to just play.

  • er its pretty cool. the drumline that can perfect it has to be tight tho

  • sixtuplets!

  • you should send these to tapspace.

  • can u send me the music to this PLEASE!

  • That is phucking phat. 5 stars.

  • virtual drumline!!!!

  • What program did you use (sibelius?) and where did you get the sound library from?

  • Its Sibelius 3.1.3 and the library is Virtual Drumline 2, its amazing :)

  • wow that's awesome man. You must be one hell of a drummer. Love the name and how you wrote it lol. Have you done any corps?

  • can you e mail me the music for this or at least the tenor part? if you could that would be awsome as hell man

  • it's not a warm up, it's a cadence...it says in it's title. And it actually isn't that hard.

  • no way one can play this for a warm up lol . this is nuts. this will take at least a month to do.

  • Anychance you could send me the music and allow my schools drumline to play that

  • do you march anywhere?

  • I marched one year at Texas A&M-Commerce on the tenors, it was a blast

  • dat sounds real good

  • It's a really sweet cadence, but the important thing is, can you play it?

  • sure can its pretty simple

  • That was sick, keep it up.

  • How do you input things like rimshots and rimclicks into Sibelius?

  • This was fucking ridiculous.

I want Virtual Drunline so bad.

  • That was cool, I wish I had Virtual Drumline but I dont have the money. 5* and keep making th
