This dog food is HORRIBLE. Read up on the ingredients on their website, there is very little that is actually good for a dog in it.

@PUNKem733 Finally, someone with common sense. Around 98% of dog food is complete shit, the other 2% is still not as good as raw meat. Dog food is made out of rotten meat from slaughterhouses, rotten roadkill, Dogs and Cats thrown into a huge mincer(with their collars and fur still on).

Nothing beats raw meat and bones you idiots.

@bluegama500 Raw is the best, but not all foods are made with those "ingredients". Though quite a few are. I've seen hidden vids of some of the most hellish shit I've seen.

You want to feed a kibble go with Orijen.

@PUNKem733 I prefer not to give my dogs any dog food at all. All they eat is raw meat and bones, and sometimes cooked meat.

My dogs also sometimes get fed vegetables/fruits but very rarely. I only feed them that when I don't have enough meat to feed them.

@bluegama500 Good going, but mixing cooked meats and raw is not the msot ideal. They digest at a different rate, and could lead to stomach issues, but it seems like you probably have a handle on this. Veggies, and fruit are OK to feed if a dog liks them as a treat, but they get absolutely no nutritional value from those foods. I am a PMR feeder, and all I have given my 16 year old is 80% muscle meats, 10% organs, and 10% raw bones. His teeth have never needed a dental cleaning.

@PUNKem733 Actually, Wolves eat a little bit of fruits in the wild, mostly berries.

Vegetables on the other hand are not going to be digested. Anyway, people worry too much about dogs having problems digesting certain foods, missing foods etc. Who cares, its a damn dog. Dogs can handle almost any kind of meat or bone. Dogs are a lot tougher than people think. So don't worry too much about digestive problems and such.

@bluegama500 Yes sure they are tough and will survive that way, but to optimally thrive I like only meat, bones and organs all raw. Wolves in the wild will eat berries, and plant material when they are either starving, or because again they enjoy the taste of it.

I was only worried when you said you feed veggies and fruit when you have no meat. As a main dish, you're feeding him basically air, as they can't get any nutrition out of it. As a little side thing it's fine, as a meal, no.

@PUNKem733 No I meant when I don't have much meat I feed fruits/vegetable along with the meat. This rarely happens though, only when I forget to buy meat.

Wolves have evolved to eat berries, thats for sure. Berries are the fruit Wolves like most. But they don't eat much other fruits besides berries. Still, mostly they eat meat.

Sometimes my dogs go a day or 2 without food, it doesn't matter. I just feed them twice as much the next day.

My dogs actually lived off cooked chicken bones for around 5 years and never had a single problem. Yes that's right, cooked chicken bones, the bones the experts say are "dangerous".

Certain foods are dangerous for dogs to eat, but lets face it, the need to eat a lots of it for anything bad to happen.

So everyone should stop treating their dogs like pussies. If your dog can't handle just a little bit of these foods then its fucking weak.

But his dogs are still much healthier than city dogs(he lives on a farm). Living off bread is better than making them live off dog food.

My dog even swallowed a huge piece of solid plastic when she was 2 months old. It was longer, and wider than her throat and stomach yet she just swallowed the whole thing before I could stop her. I thought she was going to choke but no, she was fine.

And she is still living to this day as a healthy dog lol. She must have shat it out.
