I like to buy an USA SOLOIST guitar, but i`m still undefined between SL-1 and SL-2-H.

I don´t like SL-2H because I think that neck humbucking is less "organic" than single coil in the SL-1. Why do you prefer the SL-1?

this guitar was bought new in 1989....at the time they called it the Soloist Custom...i'm not familiar with SL-1 or SL-2...

mine is just 2 single coil and a humbucer...i replaced the neck and bridge pickups with Seymour Duncans...

thanks so much noobie71 ! i use an old Sony Handycam Hi8 video camera...its tape but digital...also i play the backing tracks on my Dell pc which has 5.1 surround with a sub woofer so it sounds full...i record and then download to the pc and use Windows Movie Maker to edit...the opsys is Windows XP...
