  • Thank you :) very helpful.

  • hi there the second fan you was holding is it for a cosmos if so can i buy 1 from ?

  • Thank You!! I could not believe how hard it was to find the answer this simple question. You solved it for me!

  • Thanks - this was very helpful.

  • My case fan broke down and i need to buy a replacement, but i measured the fan and it seems to be 225mm, the site i bought it from sells both 220 and 230mm fans and checking the case it came in the sites lists the side fan as actually being 250mm which doesn't seem right at all. So i'm totally confused as to what size i should buy, I sent the company a message, but they haven't bothered to reply. :(

  • also i onlly have one fan on the side at the moment, is it best to be blowing in or blowing out? cheers

  • when measuring on the case do i measure form the edge of the screw holes. it comes to 120mm cheers

  • tnx

  • This helps me confirm that the new 80mm fan I bought the other day (an enermax) is actually 82mm!! and won't fit into my fan enclosure ... how frustrating.

  • check the quality 360p to 720p xD no 480p

  • @FergadisAntonis Probably the resolution

  • so is 90mm not good enough? For say a gaming pc

  • @Aquahorseify depends how much you have in your pc

  • hello, can i install the fan with opposite side ?

example the side with "label" should but behind, but can i put that in front ?

    lol

  • I highly suggest Scythe brand for case fans, they have OUTSTANDING CFM per DBa produced ratio. Absolutely outstanding, I have 4 120mm's and 2 80mm's in my case and my GPU's still the only audible ones

  • HI, how to you make a SATA hard drive as a slave? help please.

  • thanks! :D

  • OMG thank you for answering that question for me! Its been driving me insane over the last few weeks. Thank you so much again

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • would a 4100rpm fan be too loud, even if i have in-ear earphones on?

  • depends on your case

  • 4100 rpm? yes, too loud.most fans max out around 2500 rpm.

  • Excellent. Thank you. I am kind of new at this, and you have no idea how hard it was for me to find an answer to this question. 5/5

  • i have an antec 900 and i want to replace my fans so i was wondering what dimensions the antec 900 fans are? 120x120x25 or 120x120x20??

  • they should be 120x120. I have the antec 1200 all the fans are 120x120 except the big boy in the top at a wopping 200mm

  • thx 5/5

  • hi...how can i overclock my intel p4 HT?i have a AMI bios. And what is the best airflow for my casing, intake or exhaust? Currently i have a 120mm (intake) fan on the side panel and 80mm (exhaust) fan on top of it which is directly aligned with my processor fan. hope u can help with my problem.

  • WOW, I made a U-Body out of this dimension and it's even finite within any case;)

  • hey, no question is a bad question, where is all your spirit guys?

  • Hi, i've got a Q about graphicscards.

I am soon going to buy a new graphicscard for my mid-high gaming-pc. Soon I'll have a 32" screen but i don know what graphicscard to buy.

I need an ATI card so wich would be better for my usage? A HD4850 1gb or a 4870 512 mb?

I have a budget around 250 $ so would you please do a Q/A video for me and all the others with the same difficulties... love your rev:s and Q/A:s

  • get the 4870. 512mb is pretty good, and the chip is better than the 4850

  • the 4850 is the same gpu as the 4870 but has had part of it laser removed to make it less powerfull then the 4870.. but it will still perform near the gtx260 range

  • Not exactly. The 4870 uses GDDR5 memory as opposed to GDDR3 on the 4850. The 4870 has higher effective memory and core clocks, as well as 160 less processing cores.

  • it doesnt really matter about GDDR3 or GDDR5 AMD cancled having GDDR5 memory on the 4850 because there isnt really a performance increase... maybe the 4870 has higher 'Effective' clocks and a few more proccessing cores... Look at the price difference's tho, if i was on a bugjet i'd go for 4850 tbh...

  • Yeah for sure the 4850 is the better buy, especially in a crossfire for high end setups.

  • oh deffinetly lol.. that would be my option but not sure now as the new Direct X 11 cards coming out along with Direct X 11 on Windows 7.

  • I will be looking at a system overhaul at the end of 2009. Hopefully there will be some improved performance by then. Nvidia have been raping G92 and its variations for far too long.

  • get the sapphire 4870

  • The 4870 is faster, so go with that. Also, the NVIDIA GTX260 is fast for around the same price. Why do you absolutely need an ATI card? See which costs less between the GTX 260 and the HD 4870 and buy that one.

Also, keep in mind a 32" monitor (I assume you didn't mean TV) will have a very high native resolution, so a mid-range system will not cut it for games. (although the 4870 and GTX 260 should be fine for a couple of years)

  • I have had my 8800GTX OC3 for 3 years now and i am noticing that in the newest games its starting to slow down might have to upgrade soon.

  • aye u should def get the 4850 cause now u can get a sapphire 4850 for like i think its only $160 now. and if u got 2 and do crossfire you would get better performance than a 4870

  • Rodney you remind me on rodney from stargate atlantis :)

  • thanks ;-)

  • Thx

  • Another no brainer question.

Why do you do this Rodney?

  • hey rodney, is that a yate loon?

  • well, I agree this Q/A is very useless. The guy who asked this question has clearly taken no time to find this out himself.

  • @psnoob I agree

  • Another useless question answered.

you can tell the size just by looking at the fan. :/

  • Lol how pointless everyone already new that unless they were retarded.

  • its not pointless if you didnt know it i like The video's he roxx !!

  • Or dont know anything about computers.

  • And thank you very much lol, I'd say, I didn't know for sure but now I do :)

  • Watch is HD.

    And I've seen bigger fans.

    One case has 3 x 230mm fans

  • There's a Tagan case with two 250mm fans on the side and my case, the Tagan EL-Diablo has a 250mm fan in front and a 360mm fan on the side. Nothing comes close to that.

  • My penis does, wat?

  • Its a 330mm fan, not 360mm, but thanks for letting me know about that Tagan case, I never heard about it!

  • It's 360mm and you're welcome. You can just do a google search for "tagan el diablo" and you'll find some reviews with nice pictures too. Overall I'm very happy with this one, especially when it comes to the screwless design, quiet fans and slide-in hard drive slots. They go in from the side so you can take them out easily.

One thing it doesn't have though is a nice removable mobo tray, so I can't get a clean wiring job like on high-end towers. For $100 it's great though.

  • Its nice to know an answer to this.

  • Yeh I like these q and a videos

  • I keep having an issue with you normal videos, the video keeps resizing. I use Firefox 3 and Flash player 10 o Windows XP. How can I fix this? Thank you!

  • its working for me now

  • big fan! =O

  • XD i have the same size fan as that big boy! (i have an antec 900, my baby!) trust me, they move quite alot of air! the ambient temp sits at 29'(on a normal day) to 36' max(mid summer!), thats with a 8800 too!

  • watch IN hd not watch IS hd!!!

  • Haha. My case fans are 25cm and 36cm. THIRTY-SIX. They both eat that puny fan for breakfast, hehe.

Look up the Tagan EL-Diablo, that's the case I use. It looks sweet and it's very quiet.

  • That second fan is absolutely GINORMOUS

  • Good Jesus that 2ed fan is HhUuGgEe!

  • thanks

  • thats not always the "Case" hehe i think you worked long on that one mate :P Thanks anyway :)

  • Thank you so much!

  • It is totally not weird to have giant case fans lying around.

  • lol trueee

  • lol you see theres a thing called reading the label the sticker looking thing in the middle

  • 0:44 nice pun. "But that's not always the case"

  • yea we now that =]

  • i like how you answer silly questions and dont answer the good ones.

  • ur HD link is broken

  • i would set it on fire give it 30 DC volts or higher and watch it spin till it burns out or just leave it in a box

  • Like always, nice.

  • whoa that is one big fan.

  • my question, answered!! Thanks rodney!!! You'll be like my number 1 source for my electronics inquiry!

  • he answerd this but not my q about the hdd fomrat software and how it works

wow way to be a fucking noob budy

get off ur fat ass and mesure it

if its a 80mm fan and u mesure a certian way and get 80mm thatst how u mesure it dumbass

  • lmfao

  • yah....can you measure? never thinked of that?

  • Nope, I never thinked of it.
