  • Saw them many times back in the day. Bar circuits and arenas. Wicked live band.

  • AWESOME BAND!

  • Shelski's guitar work is KILLER !!

  • They are Legands in my mind... great band... smoking guitars and awsome vocal stylings. excellent production too!

  • I saw coney Hatch open for judas priest in Long Beach around 1980. I never forgot them.Fuckin powerful timeless music. How did these guys not become legends.

  • Will be seeing these guys at Firefest tomorrow (Sun 23rd oct 2011) - This is a cracking song!

  • GREAT FUCKIN CANADIAN METAL BAND>>>>

  • Heard of Triumph???

  • Good song kicks ass!!

  • THIS BAND SHOULD HAVE GONE AROUND THE WORLD

  • Best band Canada ever managed to produce. And yes, I have heard Rush...

  • @guitarnotfish .....DAMN STRAIGHT...

  • What a band! All four of these guys could really rock! I caught them playing a little club in Cobourg back in '83. Talk about loud! Carl and Steve were playing through two Marshall stacks each. TWO STACKS EACH! My ears are still ringing!

  • @jackiethehutt Seen them same year...Peterborough ( Jokers ) ...said it then..say it now...Best Bar Band..I have ever seen...Should of been Rock Stars !

  • 0:28 "Gonna make a facebook"

  • @Misiek949 lol..good 1

  • Coney Hatch should have been a helluva lot bigger than what they were. They were just too damned good all the way around. I wore out several recordings of their stuff on the car stereo! Thank God for Maxell!

  • my dad has the original LP for sale...

  • Back in the day, Shelski's solo on this one made me want to break my guitar... Agressive (yet very clean) picking hand, killer left hand vibrato, and a very melodic use of both classical modes/motifs and "left field" jazz chromatic lines. The fact that the album was produced by another rather formidable Canadian axe-slinger (Kim Mitchell) obviously helped get Steve's "message" right up in yer face...

    Enough said.

  • We would ve gone nuts if it was...man it was hard to hear your favorite song back then unless it was an AM smash hit

  • good band, i met the singer carl, around 97, around there, he had a band called joe cool, they did lots of covers, super tight band, saw them in a bar in thunder bay, they were so tight they didn't sound right playing alot of the music which was popular then, like stp, nirvana, but what a super band, not a good crowd, sad to say, but i introduced myself to carl, he was so cool, just a great normal person, one hell of a singer and rythm guitar player,

  • saw those guys open for judas priest in mtl in 82 -83....great night

  • The old Younge street the way I remember it from the early eighties. In the days of "The Gasworks", which had hard rock or metal bands playing seven nights a week. How times have changed.

  • @nostalgia43 Ahhh, the Gasworks...good times, good memories

  • @mattskey58 yes...big time...lets not forget Tony's East...and the Elmacombo

  • All these great Canadian bands-April Wine/Coney Hatch/Loverboy/Honeymoon Suite/Triumph, etc, whats in the water up there??

Devilsdeck3-you're right Steve Shelski smoked, saw them live in Syracuse in the early/mid 80's, we wanted to BE that band, and I brought in the album with 4 of them on the back to my hairdresser, told her to make my hair like Carl Dixon's, lol.

  • I always thought that Steve Shelski had one of the cleanest/ clearest guitar sounds going

  • Great tune, from a great underrated band!!! I wish I would've discovered these guys back in the day...would have way more of their material in my collection. Thanks a bunch for putting on this video man!!!

  • great tune. these guys never got the due they deserved.

  • gonna see these guys in concert next week, should be cool

  • This splendid album is in my collection. why wasn't Youtube around in the 80's???
