Had at least 5 Time lost proto drakes spawning in a week on my server recently. (doomhammer) and its a 1/16 chance for time lost to spawn instead of vyragosa. my boyfriend asked a GM if they changed it so it spawn more often but nothing is changed. i got one on my druid sunday then one on my priest thursday. so now i got 3 since my hunter has one too.

I got my TLPD about 2 days ago (11:28 p.m. server time, Zangarmarsh, between the engine of the makers and bor's breath to be precise). Honestly after searching for it every day for 5 months i never thought i'd get it, then BAM! ran right into him. thx for the video, was a big help!

@DBSpy1 you can use snowfall lager... look it up on how to get it.. it can be only used in the storm peaks and is bought at a vendor with a type of currency. it slows your fall for 30 seconds!

@KioKhadgar You know, the mob pop approximatly 1 time per week (and it could be 3am), so i didnt find him during the video, yes, but i found him 4 times in 3 weeks when i started to farm it this way. Do as you like

So, to sum up, Time Lost and Vyra share the same "rare spawn" of about 6-24 hours, lets say average of 15, but with my experience of farming (even if i dont play anymore atm), i noticed that (maybe i was just unlucky for months and months, but it seems to be made on purpose by Blizz) Vyra spawns like 2 to 4 times for 1 spawn of Time lost. Average of 3 lets say. So 4x 15h for a Time lost to spawn, its about 3 days. So 1, maybe 2 per week

the best way to farm this rare mob is to download "npc scan" addon it will help you alot atleast it worked for me, after 30sec i started to use this addon i found Skoll another rare spawn in storm peaks

i saw it flying around today and flew right through it to get its aggro, when i got it to a cliff nearby to kill it, 2 horde 1 mage 1 death knight were killing me from behind, i managed to kill the drake while bubbled and died right after my bubble wore off, once i rezzed to loot the body they were there waiting for me haha.. i repentance'd one and stunned the other, looted, and let them kill me after they trinketed out. many win.

It's a 280% dropping mount from the Time-Lost Proto Drake, it's bound to be rare, it can take up to 6 days to spawn.

Actually, you can learn the cold weather flying tome at 68, not 70.

You don't need level 77 to have cold weather flying any more. You can buy a bind to account tome which you can send to a level 70 character and, providing they have flying skill already, learn cold weather.

For information : i saw him 3 times in 5 days playing only 3 hours a day the week i started. (3 times arrived 30 sec too late). Then saw Vyra abotu 3 times in some days. Then nothing for about 3 months, then another time the Time lost, again 30 sec too late. Now ive stopped wow so...

Hey guys, this video was posted TEN months ago, just 1 month after WLK. There have been a lot of updates since this, and of course now you can have Cold weather flying at 68 if you have a 80, and the mounts requires lvl 70, no more 80.

as far as i know, you can get cold weather flying at 70 since the update, so you can get the mount at 70

Fail. You don't need to be level 80 to to GET it. You need to be level 70 to use it I believe. One guy on Wowhead have linked a picture of him question on his 78 paladin, and saw TLPD in the air, he killed him, sadly he couldnt use it yet, because he didnt have epic flying riding skill.

Druids are in vrykul form even if they are transformed (cat, bear, ...) so when you are in fly form, you are a flying woman :p
