yea you are correct that is what he saying and we hide our flaws...to make it seem as if we are flawless...so much we are willing to take un told secrects of mistakes to our grave before exposing them...so they turn old and decay bt never die

I believed he was playing on the idea that God is seen as perfect and unable to make mistakes and we as humans desire to seem perfect. I believe he was saying by as a human denying your flaws instead of trying to learn and grow from them moves us farther from being like Gods. I love livelovelearnlaf analysis!

I absolutely LOVE this poem!,=D

as I think about it, it can be taken diff ways,

on one hand he can be saying, as humans we do not have the ability to hide secrets, by doing that they eat away at us until death..the only way to truly fix it is to "Let go and let GOD"

Then if we use God as a metaphor, he could be saying that as humans we want to keep our secrets a mystery so badly that we take them to our grave.

It is hard to know the exact message..the written language can be "God's" OR "Gods".<3
