For the record, over the eleven years this guy's been driving he has received 12 "complaints" about his singing. Like, once a year someone got a stick up their ass and made the effort to deny the rest of us something unique and beautiful. Ugh. I hate this city.

His singing is actually one hell of a good way to relax, especially knowing those roads were pretty bad at the time... A lot of drivers were pretty paranoid when it came down. @Isamudyson84 you are right, on my first day of school I got harassed badly by a driver because I gave him 1 old bus ticket and he practically asked me to get out and said to him are you going to help me go to school or are you going to help me stay stupid for 1 bus ticket then he harassed me even more and I said said to him if you're not making enough maybe it's time for a career change..Algonquin is helping people like you and he shut up..I miss this singing bus driver he is THE BEST!

Well, my father happens to be a bus driver and I know for a fact that they don't get paid anywhere near what they say in the news (the news claims that they get over $100,000/year). To get that much, a driver would have to work over 8 hours every day & work weekends too. However, concerning benefits, you may be right when it comes to other similar jobs. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not for the strike, and neither is my father for that matter, but I just wanted to clear up the whole money issue.

I used to be really positive when I walked onto a bus and said hello, thank you, and goodbye because there were drivers out there like this guy or drivers who waited for the elderly people to find a seat before taking off so they wouldn't fall over. Now I'm never being polite to a bus driver again because of the disregard they've treated their riders with- unless it's this guy. :)
when ever i take the oc (118) home from school i get one of 2 drivers one indian guy who is grumpy that dosent care about nothing or some bitchy lady who doesnt like people standing in the front of the bus

He drove the 95 about a year ago or something and I was on it. He has an INCREDIBLE voice & is a really sweet guy. It's great when you get drivers who make the trip enjoyable!

He's my favourite OC Transpo driver. He's so nice and I love his singing. I think it's awesome when people clap when he finishes a song too. You should too, if you find yourself lucky enough to catch his bus.

oc transpo is one of the best public trans system. It's very punctual, and with one transfer you can go to any place before it expires after one hour and half (only cost you about $2). Internally the bus is clean and the driver is kind too. The only not-so-well-done thing is that they do not stop completely because they have to catch up the schedule, so get ready to board the bus when it is coming.
My favourite bus driver is the guy that does the 4 Downtown. I haven't heard him sing but he's always in a great mood and greets EVERY person that gets on the bus.
It's amazing what a positive attitude can do to such a simple thing as a bus ride. Makes it an enjoyable trip for everyone.
Oh man, that dude on the 4, he's the nicest bus driver I've ever even heard of ~ I've never seen him upset in my life, and he's always outrageously courteous. I had to take a group on there once and he even introduced himself to me ~ such a nice guy. Too bad guys like that are such a rarity in the OC Trans busdriver world.

There's a singing driver with a mustache who drives the 182 from Kanata to LeBreton. He comes by the Alcatel building at 4:20 or so. That's as of late August, 2007.

oc transpo is one of the best public trans system. It's very punctual, and with one transfer you can go to any place before it expires after one hour and half (only cost you about $2). Internally the bus is clean and the driver is kind too. The only not-so-well-done thing is that they do not stop completely because they have to catch up the schedule, so get ready to board the bus when it is coming.

He sounds like a pretty good singer too!
My favourite bus driver is the guy that does the 4 Downtown. I haven't heard him sing but he's always in a great mood and greets EVERY person that gets on the bus.
It's amazing what a positive attitude can do to such a simple thing as a bus ride. Makes it an enjoyable trip for everyone.

Oh man, that dude on the 4, he's the nicest bus driver I've ever even heard of ~ I've never seen him upset in my life, and he's always outrageously courteous. I had to take a group on there once and he even introduced himself to me ~ such a nice guy. Too bad guys like that are such a rarity in the OC Trans busdriver world.

lol i use to have this guy drive me to work in the morning by hawthorne road awesome guy i brought him free drinks and stuff all the time and he said he drove the 118 fridays. i don tknow if hestill does

There's a singing driver with a mustache who drives the 182 from Kanata to LeBreton. He comes by the Alcatel building at 4:20 or so. That's as of late August, 2007.

yeah there are two of them that sing is that style, I've seen them the 95 orleans, 85 st. laurent, and sometimes the 8 but not often. they're very good but who would complain? fackin pricks
