where can you get some B or C model rockets, cheaply offline? and how much would they be in a hobby shop?

@alewisgb Ithink they are usually around ten dollars for a pack of three engines. Toys r us sometimes carries them. hobby stores, places that sell rc airplanes and cars sometimes carries them.

Good point. Estes is the big player in model rockets. There is another similiar company called Quest Aerospace that makes model rockets and aocmpany called Aerotech that makes rockets for serious amateurs. But estes is the one.

So is the clay cap still intact after the ejection charge, or do you need to replace it after every launch?

The whole engine unit is used up after a launch. You have to start with a new one. They are inexpensive. You usually buy them in three packs.

yikes! no, but it does sound a bit like it, sorry. I just stumbled when I wanted to say fire. eek. I am getting a new Hi def camera with better sound! Some of these older vids could use updating!

oh and, I have bought a new rocket so I will be making that and showing how its made, also how the engine holder is made. And I have special plans for this new rocket! It's going to be spectacular :) If you are into rockets you are going to like this.

Sorry about that. My early videos were pretty home made. I now use Adobe premiere and a better camera and can get the sound much better. I should probably re-do this video.
